    Another sad video… I'm posting this for documentary reasons. I've never ever noticed behaviour like this. Tye larger snail appears to be gently examining the smaller, injured snail (who is alive btw but was crushed between the tank and its lid by accident). Gastropods are very simple creatures with little to no known social hierarchy, empathy, intelligence or overall behaviour, but I believe the older snail can comprehend the smaller's injury/pain. It gave me goosebumps witnessing this. At first I moved her (older snail) away, as I thought she was going to hurt the little one. To my suprise, she crawled back to the little one and continued to touch her with her sensory tentacles. It went on for minutes. She didn't bite, didn't "run her over, nothing. Just gently examined her. I don't know what to say.
