TIP: one thing I noticed you saying 9:03. Couldn't fit the wood plaque? Just so you know, you definitely don't need the honeycomb in there to engrave. heck, you don't even need the cookie tray either for engraving. this would provide ample room for the plaque. thanks for the video!
Im a very small time hand printer, silkscreen. I would like to see some of designs engraved on items. Im seeing dome engraving in my local markets and they seem to be doing good. They are engraving metal cups, leather items, wood like you worked with. I can soo other items to engrave that im not seeing. Maybe more personalized works as opposed to quantity printing of one design on same platform. Anyways.... Ud like to gear more about your expeience. Could you please invlude the type of computer youre working with to wirk your designs, vector tools. (I prefer and its become my brand, hand drawn designs on paper the old fashion way) id like to repriduce thise handdrawn designs on to other art forms, but not married to to my current use. I could mess around on the computer to edit some work which will improve on production. Currently i edit by redrawing every change as many times as needed to end with a design i like, but that takes qeeks sometimes. I also orint one color, with pite tial to print up to 6 but my ppl like my simple statement graphics which also has become my brand. So without teying to get a brand, my Christmas have decided for me. They like my "organic design and production". Im going to research your engraver. Please send me the beand and name of machine soon. I also would like if you advised me on various apps that might help mw in my creating my designs, to help me. I will continue to draw my designs as mych as i can still draw ok. I will be 64 in a few weejs. Still young but moving up in rank. 😂❤ Askwali fir your videos. Here's a tip I use on laser engraving. Try using painters tape to mask your material before engraving. It helps eliminate burn marks on your project.
Thanks for the tip! I'll have to try that out.
