We are back with another video for healthy ways to color our Natural Hair. I know in the previous video I used a permanent dye that had a bleaching agent in it and the color didn’t last as vibrant so I wanted so I decided to go lighter. But I didn’t wanna use the same products cause I felt the difference in my hair a little not a lot.

And yes definitely fall like a little. I think that’s cause the other color I had was so dark and then adding this color made it bright but still a deep color. lol

Phew thank you for this video because I am kinda freaking out about doing my roots right now 😅 This definitely helped my nerves and I’m gonna add the kiss color at the end like you did to hopefully tone it done a bit.
Yes also after a few washes the color finally settles into the hair. Sometimes I’ll wear a protective style right after coloring to really let the color settle.
So will this work on bleached hair? My hair is a copper red but the color has faded so I wanted to try this with the Loreal Hi Color.

Same here. Anytime you have color in your hair it’s gonna be dry but To help, Deep condition weekly and use heavy butters or leave ins to add moisture 💦

Did you go over your ends with the developer as well?
Yes I used remaining product that was on my hands/ brush on my ends.

How long did you wait between doing the roots and adding the rest of the color to the ends? Did you add developer to that final tube that you used on just the ends?
I previously lightened my hair using peroxide and baking so now that my hair has grown out I think I want to revolve to ginger. Just worried about the ends appearing lighter than the rest of I just apply all over.

I really didn’t wait that long between application between roots and ends. I would say do your roots and then add remaining product from your hands or brush to the ends of your hair. So it’s a one time application. Hope that makes sense.
Hey I want to dye my hair blonde but i wanted to ask you why did you use developer?
The developers activate the high color hilights. It’s what helps the color stick to your hair follicles.
did u use the 30 vol develepor on the blonde too ? or just the dye alone
I don’t know if I understand your question but yes I added the developer to the hair dye and then added that mixture to my entire head. Making sure to focus on my roots last to avoid hot roots.

What’s the color in your hair before you dyed it ginger?
It was almost off black color. I know now that if I want to go light after being dark to strip my color first to make the process easier.
Wait could I just use kiss and the developer alone
I don’t believe you can because the kiss is a semi permanent hair color. It really only used to put on top of the hair not to stick to the hair strands like a permanent color would. I hope that makes sense 👍🏽
How long after applying the first color did you add the second one?
Hey love thanks for tuning in. So to answer your question I waited about 2 months just to give my hair time to recover from the 1st time.

Is it ok if I use the 20 developer? I feel like 30 would be too much
I think that’s good just might take longer to lift to the color you want.

No do it on unwashed hair
No it’s better on dirty hair. Less damage. The oils from your dirty hair will help maintain healthy hair from color
