Thanks for watching this video. If you enjoyed it please subscribe to my channel. I am trying to reach 1,000 subscribers so that I can monetise my videos and invest more time (and money) into developing the channel and continue teaching people about the amazing wildlife of the UK. If you have any questions, leave a comment and I will get back to you with an answer. Thanks again, Liam.
You are a man after my own heart Sir. For as long as I can remember wildlife and nature have been my driving force and I fondly remember as a youngster avidly reading "How to Make a Wildlife Garden" by Chris Baines and "The Joy of Wildlife Gardening" by Geoffrey Smith, two inspirational books that I still have and cherish, books that helped me shape and share my surroundings to benefit wildlife of all shapes and sizes. Thank you for your excellent channel. You too are an inspiration. Paul 👍😊
This is a beautifully filmed, inspiring video. Your tips are amazing and your garden is simply beautiful in its overgrown wildness. It looks like the perfect wildlife haven! A dream of mine has always been to live in the country and have a wildlife garden full of ponds and wildflowers and compost heaps. I have a couple of small ponds, but there are vast limitations to living in London, it's so crowded and noisy too. Your channel has fed my passion for British wildlife, and I can't wait to watch more :)
Thank you for your kind comment! Hopefully one day you can fulfil your dreams and get a house in the country. That being said, even the smallest of space can have great value for wildlife, I think it is sometimes about making do with what you have got :)
Wow a fantastic blog Iv covered the 4 tips you have said. We have lots of wildlife coming in the garden but always want more. Even with kids a dog and a cat we gave a large Selection coming in. Including the sparrowhawk from time to time.
Since adding a wildlife pond in our garden, our garden is teaming with life, we have a wild area and log piles, we even had an owl visiting our pond at night, various videos on my page taken with a trail camera all around our garden.
What a superb and informative video and for me, it is a reminder to tidy up the garden some with all the advice given here taken on board. Thank you so much for taking I assume a long time to put so many small clips together. And for remembering the hedgehogs too. ◕‿◕
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed. Yes it took a long time to edit it all together but I am happy with it, its one of my better videos I think. I could never forget the hedgehogs, they need all the help they can get :)
What a fantastic and informative upload. Thank you for sharing these vitally important facts, I'm sure it will assist those setting up a wildlife garden. Phil.
Great video, I always try my best to encourage my customers to make wildlife friendly gardens , I’ve been doing some TH-cam videos for the last year , my best wishes to you 💚
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Ive popped over to your channel to return the support. As you can see the youtube channel is slowly growing and once it gets monetised I will be using the funds raised to install wildlife gardens at schools, colleges and maybe nursing homes alongside a few other projects. I am not deluded into thinking the channel will make much money but hopefully it will continue to grow and I can continue to increase my impact towards helping wildlife.
Putting in nesting material might be why I haven't seen any hedgehogs move in yet. I'll give their box a proper cleaning and hope for a visitor this fall.
Thank you ! . Just as well I can't get to sleep tonight, otherwise I wouldn't have received your kind subscription . I'm happy to have subscribed to you, too. Your video is just lovely 👍🏼❤️ Hope to see more soon . : ) x

Wow I've never seen so many newts in 1 place, how did you manage that. Great video. My only comment is for people thinking of getting a pond is to think about mosquitoes, small fish can help eat larvae but some will always survive. I hate the bloody things.
