The desert part and the stars at the end was in Bryce Canyon, Utah. WAY prettier than the grand canyon, arch canyon, and Yellowstone combined. Trust me, you'll never regret going to Bryce. 7 thousand stars in the sky and amazing summsr weather for a desert.

As a child my parents took me to the Smokeys so naturally I took my kids camping every year. One could not pay me enough money to take my grandkids not that I know that the National Park Service is hiding something. Till that changes and they are transparent about ALL disappearances that are not directly crime related, I will not be taking them. Look it up Missing 411.

David Paulidies has written several books on the subject of bizarre dissapearences beginning in National Parks. They must be without explanation such as animal attack, foul play, or suicides, etc. they also follow profile points such as dogs unwilling or unable to track, changes in the weather etc. Google or search TH-cam for David Paulidies or Missing 411. If you are interested in the books do NOT go to amazon. He sells his books for $25.00 US at Canammissing.com. His research now extends worldwide. I literally do not look at nature the same again.

I grew up going to the Smokies as well but after reading David Paulides' work and listening to lots of his interviews I can't look at the Smokies or any other park in the same way. Something deeply disturbing is going on. I don't blame you for not wanting to take your kids. I'd be too scared to even visit with a large group now after learning what's going on.
