It was criminal that Sony didn't release this movie world wide in theaters , it would have been a hit ,it was enough to warrant another critically acclaimed sequel , definitely would have boosted van dammes and lundgrens career
i really liked him in this, i wish he would do some more stuff, i think i did see him in at least 2 or 3 movies so far, but he was fantastic and really believable in my opinion. thanks for watching!
Thanks for posting this. Love Van Damme, love Lundgren - I grew up on their stuff, but when this came out (I was in my early 20's), Hyams was a revelation. I've got nothing but respect for him - dude's a madman. He took a dead Van Damme franchise and added Carpenter and Frankenheimer and Cronenberg to the mix, and eventually Lynch and Gaspar Noe as influences. That's some bold shit.
Its such a wonderful movie.. Very different approach with eerie camera work along with thrilling high speed action in a radioactive ghost city. When I went to the theatre I really didn't expect it to be so catchy and exciting masterpiece of the series.. I would give it 100/100. Keep up the good work
i hear that, it gave me like a mad max feel but super soldiers, it was awesome, and i thought Arlovsky was great as the bad guy, i mean the fights were cool and brutal, i love this movie thats why i got it here on the channel, thanks for the comment, i really appreciate it, and as always , thanks for watching !
"Underrated" is a very overused word on the internet. But honestly I've always thought this probably the most underrated martial arts movie ever made. An absolute masterpiece of action and martial arts - and nobody knows about it! 😭
