I was on my own at Christmas and I did my knee in on Christmas Eve and spent the next 5 days in bed, my worst Christmas in 73 years . Here’s to the next 73.😅
I love how u get Lucas to open the gifts himself he got so excited bless him!! Austin side eye at the furbys so funny just remember u can take the batteries out and remember how excited the girls were!!! Austin u got ur two princesses wrapped around ur pinky fingers exactly how it should be that’s only reason u r putting up with them!! xxxx
furby's have gotten bigger over the years. I bought one for each of my three sons the year they were most popular. I happened to be shopping with my best friend at midnight at the toy store when they announced they had some. I think that year I extended belief in Santa for at least one more year!! They were impossible to find and there they were on Christmas morning. Also, I now have a granddaughter Paige's age and a new grandson who is 7 months old. All she wanted from Santa was a red ball. She would have been happy with only that, she absolutely loves that ball. Watching Paige play with Lucas's toys was so funny, because that's exactly what our Evie does. she has all these new toys and she is playing with the baby toys. LOL
We had our first Christmas with our daughter this year. And we know just how much she would get from everyone do we decided to do the frugal Christmas shopping process so that we’re not being wasteful but she still has a lovely Christmas. You have to shop with these in mind: Something she wants; something she needs; something to wear; something to read; and something to do. That way she got 5 thoughtful gifts and our home doesn’t get overwhelmed with stuff. The “something to do” could be like a craft thing, or a puzzle, or a day trip. So we booked to go and see the zoo lights as her “something to do” this year, and it gave us something to look forward to in January. It worked so well and I’m glad we did it that way. We’re going to do the same for birthdays and Christmas’s going forward. When she gets older, we can add “something to eat” so that she gets some chocolate or treats too

I know nothing about these things except they were THE THING a few years back and are popular again. Bring back the original Tickle Me Elmo, it's cute, giggly and not quite as controversial. :-)

This was too cute watching them open gifts. Reminds me if when I was little opening presents. Now as for the decor....I'm the type of girl that it'll stay up past New Years at least. Now since I got 2 energectic doggos, my Christmas decor is just lights and stockings. So easy pick up for me. But at least ring in the new year then take it all down. I love decorations, so I have a hard time taking them down, lol.

Thank you for letting us peek through the TV & share Christmas with you! The part when the girls were just starting to check the piles to see whose presents were whose just got me. The artificial lights were dim & the tree was all lit up & I was 50 years younger on Sugarloaf Drive again. Sighhhh, what I wouldn't give...
I miss so much this age at Christmas. My son learned at Michas age that there was no Santa. We never really had these magical moments. I grew up in a big catholic family so Christmas was a huge deal. You captured it so wonderfully. Thanks for sharing these special times with your followers. You have such a beautiful family. 😊

This!!! This is what Christmas is all about. Love seeing the girls faces and pure excitement. Hope you had a happy Christmas and New Year. This was the first year my 12yr niece ‘discovered’ her stocking under the stairs on Christmas Eve.
We left food for the reindeer too… and the reindeer left magic reindeer poop…. Milk Duds. The look on my daughter’s face when I ate one of the droppings…😂

Don’t stress about taking down “Christmas “the 25th is just the first day of Christmas. There are 12 days. We never take our tree down until Epiphany. The 12th day when the kings reach Jesus. All the days leading up to Christmas are commercial for stores to sell their products. The real Christmas is still continuing!

Oh my goodness. It seems like no time since the girls told Santa they wanted dinosaurs for Christmas.
OMG Am I just noticing how Micah no longer has a "baby" face, but is quickly getting a young girls face. Furby has changed since the '90's, I still own the 4 I bought back then. Fun to make them talk to each other, lol.
