วัดยานนาวา ( Wat Yannawa ) พระอารามหลวง สังกัดมหานิกาย ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ติดถนนเจริญกรุง

วัดยานนาวา พระอารามหลวง ที่เที่ยวกรุงเทพ ไหว้พระ วัดสวย ชมเรือสำเภา ในช่วงกรุงธนบุรี พ.ศ. 2325 ในรัชสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกมหาราช ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ สร้างพระอุโบสถหลังเล็กขึ้นถวายและพระราชทานวิสุงคามสีมาให้แก่ทางวัด อีกทั้งทรงพระราชทานนามใหม่ว่า วัดคอกกระบือ ต่อมาในรัชสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระนั่งเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 3 ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้กรมหมื่นไกรสรวิชิต เป็นแม่กองปฏิสังขรณ์พระอุโบสถวัดยานนาวา ที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกได้เคยปฏิสังขรณ์ไว้แล้ว พร้อมทั้งทรงให้สร้างพระเจดีย์ มีฐานเป็นสำเภาเท่าขนาดเรือสำเภาจริง ซึ่งมีอยู่แห่งเดียวในประเทศไทย แล้วเสร็จใน พ.ศ. 2387 นอกจากนี้ โปรดฯ ให้สร้างกุฏิสงฆ์หลังใหม่จำนวน 2 หลัง โดยปิดทองหน้าบัน บานประตู หน้าต่าง ซุ้มประตูหน้าต่างพระอุโบสถในคราวเดียวกัน นอกเหนือไปจากสำเภาเจดีย์อันโดดเด่นสะดุดตายิ่ง พระอุโบสถของวัดแห่งนี้ ยังถือได้ว่าเป็นงานศิลปกรรมชั้นเยี่ยมในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์
