Can't lie this was mad embarrassing from grown women. Not everyone needs a microphone man. This also had mad Africa v Caribbean undertones but we'll leave that for another day.
Without even pressing play, or reading a single comment, I knew this would land in the stinging nettles. Black women, do better. This makes you look bad. Even when you have a point. But y'all clearly don't care at this point.
“Failed lightskin”, from someone who has a light skin baby is very questionable. Does she intend for her baby to be a successful light skin? 😭🤦🏾♂️ Lin Mei ain’t even light like that… my sisters please lol this ain’t a good look
I've just found this podcast and I don't know who any of the characters are so I know I'll be missing context but I think you've missed the point on the 'failed lightskin' comment; it's commentary on how this Lin person values herself rather than how they value/see her. You've got outrage at people noticing where she places her value but you seem to have missed 5:26 where she's holding a placard appealing that she's not darkskin. May be you can provide me with the context there?
@wordsbymaribeja1470 No you dont make racial slurs about mixed people when your child is mixed. If it was a white woman everyone would be screaming this is why mixed people have identity issues. But when its a fake ass pro black woman doing it now you want to defend her please check your hypocrisy

Hateful, nasty women without any substance or decency... nothing they said of Lin Mei is valid but just reeks hate and jealousy... nothing could ever compare to graceful, sweet, objective and sagacious Lin Mei ❤️ 💖
A few years back the rapper Dave was heavily criticised for what was deemed as a “pro black” song whilst allegedly having a white girlfriend…I guess that was what lin Mei was trying to shade when she brought up kelechis personal life… is only black MEN who get criticised for interracial relationships whilst it’s ok for black women or?…
Can someone explain the beef please?? Because to me this looks like an unhealthy dark skin versus light skin woman debate born out of a personal hatred from the presenter to lin mei. Optics arent great

We will rise up everytime in the name of our ancestors🙏🏾 big up Kelechi 💜
Nah you're just a much of a hypocrite as her. She is aggressively calling a mixed race woman a FAILED LIGHT SKIN. Which is actually a slur and she has a mixed race daughter, imagine how her daughter would feel seeing that. People like you and her do not represent black people and you are not rising in the name of Black people.
@charlenemarshall8847 facts I don't dislike her but I know plenty of mixed people that are like that and it's just fake never trust mixed people that are like that they will sell blacks out quick
Nah she mad because she is meant to be Pro Black but she came out with a mixed race child. Lin Mei made a tweet about it and didn't even say anything negative, she was just surprised because of how she talks, i think she even said it was positive, but she got triggered for some reason and now Lin Mei is a failed light skin. Lmao
Just adding a comment I made to someone here because I'm really shocked by the lack of comprehension and how this segment is an opportunity to bash black women. I'm seeing I've missed nothing in not engaging UK popular culture: I've just found this podcast and I don't know who any of the characters are so I know I'll be missing context but I think many of you have missed the point on the 'failed lightskin' comment; it's commentary on how this Lin person values herself rather than how the panel/speaker value/sees her so that she has a mixed race lightskinned baby is completely irrelevant, if anything it is saying that the skintone of her child is not where the value is. You've all got outrage at people noticing where this Lin character places her value but you seem to have missed 5:26 where she's holding a placard appealing that she's not darkskin. May be you can provide me with the context there?
The placard says #doilookdstrkt. District is the name of the club where her and her black friends were refused entry. Are we offended that she brought a racial issue to the public’s attention?? Is she dark enough to do this?? Am i the only one confused at this videos title and general premise?? All ladies cackling in hate on this one,but why???
@@OozieOozie Thanks for clarifying the hashtag, appreciated. On another note I stand by my comment because my interpretation of the the woman's commentary is that Lin is being criticised for the value she places on her lightskin and being displeased that it didn't gain her entry into the club because I don't understand why she was fighting so hard to get in even though you're correct, she did bring light to an important issue. Again, I've never heard of her until now but I need people to focus on what is being criticised here, the issue isn't having lightskin but the currency that is placed on lightskin therefore the reaction at the 'failure' in the lightskin currency not working.
Her child is mixed race and she with a white man talking about failed light skins, she is a clown. If it was a white woman with a mixed child talking like that everyone would have something to say about the child
