I wanted so bad for him not to turn on the Medici’s but I know in history he did and they were only sticking to what really happened. Did they have to cast such a good looking Francesco:D it made it so much harder to dislike him but he got so evil!!!
His look is one thing, but what got me rooting for him was the fact that they made him sympathetic in the first half of the season. The way he defended his brother, him wanting a fair fight with Lorenzo, and his willingness to overlook everything that had been taught to him about the Medici and work with them. Also, Matteo Martari was able to perfectly carve himself into the role that you just can't help but to like Francesco even knowing his history.
The main thing that bothered me about their fight was he literally told her right before how manipulative his uncle was and it’s literally what happens to him in the next scene like they don’t even try to work it out
I just finished the season. And the sudden change in his behaviour doesn’t make any sense to me. How he suddenly started believing his uncle I don’t understand
@@cuttugirl7629 The series took some sudden turns and decisions that didn't even make sense nor weren't explained or developed properly, leading to this rushed outcomes. I guess it had to be with the shortness of every season, since the first to the last one. Truly sad.
Matteo è un grandissimo attore , purtroppo ancora sottovalutato ! Ha una stupenda gavetta alle spalle ma a quanto pare di questi tempi danno spazio a persone con molto meno talento e senza nessuna gavetta alle spalle!
