- This was part of our Sunwing package where we stayed in Havana for 2 nights and 3 nights at an all inclusive resort.
Our room was a Junior Suite with a garden view. I believe there's other Junior Suites available that are renovated and up-to-date.

I was there 15 years ago and certainly didn’t upgrade the resort
hope it was a good experience still when you went! 😖 we definitely felt the shower/bathroom situation needed an upgrade. 😅

thank you! no, we were not diamond club. i believe they had a separate outdoor breakfast/dining area, and a separate beach area.
My tenth visit in April, you get everything a DC member gets, OK they get a posing lounge inside but who needs inside? Save £280 each trip.

we loved our first time in Cuba! Our room was not one of the newly renovated rooms so there were some issues such as the water pressure in the shower being dodgy/ water leaking out. The blowdryer is a little old as well and gets really hot (so I would suggest bringing one if needed). The resort was nice; it is adults only, and is a 'smaller' resort so it's not as crowded, mostly all à la cartes require no reservation, loungers are always available/ the beach is a short walk from our room, and staff were very friendly! For us, we would recommend the resort.

Do you know which building is close to the pool?
@@milliondollarow9016 i believe the diamond club rooms are the closest to the main pool and beach. These are the buildings closer to the front lobby. There is a tiny pool near the older buildings/rooms but we didn't see much people there. we didnt have to walk far to get to the main pool or the beach as the resort is smaller in comparison to others.

How was the food? Doesn’t look very good? I read that there is no toilet paper? Going next week, any tips? Thanks
the food was hit/miss. we had a lot of people tell us about the food beforehand so we kept our expectation low😬. the food served on the beach was pretty good. the a la carte was okay(sometimes felt like the buffet was better). during the time we went there was a lot of events, so there seemed to be a lot of food (not sure if its like that every single day/week). some tips- before you land, use the washroom in the plane-- or bring small bills (usd), you'll have to pay to use the washroom at the airport when you're collecting your luggage----and it might take awhile before you get to your resort. bring a cardigan just in case, it was a little chilly at night but we did go end of dec/jan. bring mosquito repellent, they're really small and come out at night. bring small bills (usd) for tips. if you're going to havana, most restaurants accept usd (we just make sure to ask in advance just to make sure!)
lol i forgot the toilet paper question, because i wondered that too before we went! so i brought a lot of wet wipes which seemed like a safe bet/ flat in the bag😅, buut there was always toilet paper, and always replenished when they came in to clean the room!
