“What’s a finale without a Bowser appearance, huh?
    A CRUDDY FINALE, THAT’S WHAT!”

The final stretch here from Grodus to Bowser to the ultimate resurrection of the Shadow Queen was the most climactic shit to me as a kid.

"Under NO circumstances is ANYONE allowed to kidnap her without MY say so!!! I will NOT stand for this! I'm going to Rogueport, NOW! I've got to kidnap her back!"
Man, this boss fight, immediately after Grodus...it's unfairly hard, but also really cool! Getting to take down Bowser a second time right before the end is a perfect last challenge! 👌

I started reading all of his dialogue in Jack Black's voice since the movie dropped.

It's nothing that little Danger Mario can't obliterate like everything else in this game

@@IndustrialParrot2816 That, and for some reason Bowser here isn't actually immune to Showstopper like all the other bosses are.

There's elements of the original I think I still like more but this is a very fun remix and still has that slapdash energy I liked. After stepping on rakes the whole game, Bowser bumblefucks into an opportunity and tries to haphazardly take advantage of it

I appreciate that both the chapter 3 and 8 themes are different

This sounds like it's being played at a mosh pit.
    Which suits Bowser, actually.

Paper Bowser: Mario! First, I pound you. Then, I take the princess! And then, the Crystal Stars! Today’s the day I flush a plumber down the drain and leave that chump Grodus in the dust for kidnapping what’s rightfully mine!

Man, this was already one of my favorite themes on the original game, and here...?
They gave it the fucking glow up of the century!!! Man, this remake wasn't just a wish for us TTYD fans, it was a NEED that thankfully was satisfied.

I’m hearing a lot of Color splash out of it or I’m the only one?😂
Roy or Ludwig’s battle theme for example

@@ToadetteTails6969Did you ever think that Black Bowser's theme was referencing his theme in the og TTYD?

There's a weirdly high amount of love for color splash in this remake, which is neat. For instance, the extra battle theme has color splashes battle theme in it.

Ngl, every Paper Mario game has a great soundtrack, but Color Splash was a pretty good one.

Finally..... I've been waiting a long time for this showdown, Mario.... since you're all weak from that one HUGE fight from that shrimp of a boss, I'LL BEAT YOU INTO A PULP!!!! BWAHAHAHA!!!!

I think the more I listen to this, the more I like it. But its still going to take time to get used to the new part before it loops. I really feel like it kills the flow and intensity of this song.

Well, here is what i did in the original: 2 damage dodge, 2 simplifiers, 2 damage dodge p, 2 power plus, 1 power plus p, 1 defense plus, peekaboo, happy flower, and a charge badge. Then i had Vivian keep using fiery jinx to keep them burned and started whaling away first at kammy, and then at Bowser. Fortunately, I leveled up when i beat Grodus, so this fight wasn't too terrible.

This is definitely an interesting arrangement on the song. It's both better and worse. It adds more guitar and impact but gets rid of that sinister effect for Bowser's more comical villian aesthetic. Hmm...imma have to go with original instead, my favorite part sounds too silly now

    • @hypermariosunshine
      @hypermariosunshine 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Disagree
Remember you’re also fighting Kammy Koopa in said fight who’s been comedy gold in her entire appearance in each Bowser Epilogue so I think giving her a bit of rep alongside Bowser’s Sinister, badass, yet somewhat comedic aspects meshes well with the fight

@@hypermariosunshine You don't need a silly instrument to give identity to a character that's only silly sometimes. The original had an amen break and a sinister undertone to it that fit the characters. Now it's overproduced with the guitar's loudness and weird synth paired with Origami King's dumb squeaky digital instrument that just kills the entire song's groove.
