Just finished the second last night and while yes it was WAY darker with on page violence, it was surprisingly easier to read than the first for me personally. Both were a lot easier to read than the novella that ties in😅
I read hunting adeline and I can tell u book two does get more darker and more intense like this is not a spoiler for the book but book two does have rape, ptsd , blood play , knife play, salve trade n graphic violence now it does say this the beginning of the book in the important note so check the triggers for this one
Haunting Adeline is an intensely spicy read, so make sure you’re comfortable with its themes, as it delves into sex trade and has some very dark, dominating elements something I personally enjoy if that’s your taste. The storyline is captivating, and I’m eagerly anticipating the rest of the series because I need to know what happens next! Haunting Adeline is edging close to being my favorite book of the year. For 2024, though, keep an eye out for Sex God: Uriel and Den of Vipers-they’re my top three picks!
Like I am currently facing problem I should read it or not because I am not afraid of sex or any other brutal thing but what I am fraid off is if it is haunted because I am scared of dark and would it affect me or my sleet either in any of the ways

STALKER?! ROMANCE?! More like creepy af- why is this glorified as 'dark romance'?! More like Stockholm syndrome, this isn't cute nor something to be messing with as actual victims of such instances usually don't get believed in these situations. But when it's fictional and 'oh so cool', then it's somehow loved all over?! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!
@@nikkisbooknook you go get stalked and kidnapped and see if that's romantic to you. If you do see it as that, shame on you. If you see that that's wrong, then why take an interest in it as something positive and 'sexy' when you know that's wrong, regardless of it being fictional? Take note of the ACTUAL victims out there. It would help a lot.
I love stalker romances, but i absolutely despised the first book, the second one made me actually start liking the stalker, TW: most of the stuff done is NOT consensual, and the stalker IS SUPER HYPOCRITICAL, i think personally you would really like "That Sik Luv" by jessie hall
I don’t understand why people call the main dude hot, what he did wasn’t even consensual. It’s crazy, they are always like it’s just fictional, but recently a bunch of booktok girlies were drooling over a dude in real life that did some horrible shit. They are literally mentally ill.
would u recommend it for me as a 16 year old? Pls u don't need to be overprotective i get it it's 18+ but maybe if u are at the age of 16 do u think u woukd recommend it yourself?
I surely do not. I may havent read it myself but the content in it is clearly triggering and disturbing. For your knowledge I am also 16 (turning 17) but this book is totally unacceptable in my opinion. It romaticizes SA, r*pe etc and makes it seem like its "hot" when its clearly unconsentual. Eventually everyone seems to ignore the fact that Adeline (the mc) states herself how she doesnt consent to some events happening (e.g. the infamous gun scene). Zade is also hypocritical which is obviously portraied when he proceeds to talk about what he "wants to have with Adeline" and his organization stuff. Like I said, I havent read it myself, but I watched a summary and ppls reviews (incl. quotes) so I have a vague understanding of the book. This is just my opinion, hope this helps :)
