At last somebody that bottles the same way I do. As long as the fruit is cooked and the bottles are sterilised with heat (I microwave them for 5 minutes) then the lids are sealed with air pressure as the full bottle of fruit cools. No need for water baths and all that malarky.

Last a year in room temperature ?
should the syrup / fruit mixture be cool ?
