I just finished the back panel and it occured to me that i have no idea how to make front panels shaped as v neck at the top. Do you think its possible to start from smallee chain and then increase rows make it work?

The label of the yarn you are using should have a suggested hook number.

I read somewhere that the Lion Brand "Mandala" yarn is somewhat similar, but I don't have any Caron Simply Soft Light Yarn to compare it to.

2. Skip 4 - in 5th chain : 2double croch+2chain+ 2 double chroch + 4 chain.
3.Skip 4 - in 5th chain - single crochet +6 chain.
4. Skip 3 -4th chain-single crochet+4chain
Repeat 2 until 2nd row ends.
5. End chain -
skip 2 -in 3rd chain :1 double crochet.
3rd row-
6. 3 chain
7. 2nd row chsin 2 space : 2 dc +2 chn+2dc + 1 chain
8. 2nd row 6 chain space : 9 treble +1 chain
Repeat 7 and 8.
9. End with 1 dc
