      It doesn't get much better than Utah for scenery!!! Here is a bit more drone footage from Kodachrome Basic State Park: th-cam.com/video/p7UdpWWK0zw/w-d-xo.html

    Wow! You have an awesome prologue in your video. It looked like exploring an exoplanet from Stars Wars! I hope someday I can visit this place! I liked your review.
    I own a few typical Honda trail bikes, from 250 to 400, and they are amazing in the city, but I would not travel with them, because they all have a very low mileage tank, and are a little bit unstable beyond 60 miles/h. I am deciding if buying this one is a good deal or not.
    Thanks for sharing.

      Thank you for watching. It does look like another planet, wait til you see Goblin Valley, it looks like Mars. Remember this isn't really a trail or offroad bike, but it can go on dirt roads.

      with the anemic gw250 twin , not worth the waiting

    • @martinmartin5904
      @martinmartin5904 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Better wait for the Ténéré R3 , but probably with a higher price than a wr250 or the versys300

      Weak engine...in South Africa we have the 250...this versys has about 15hp more...but the suzuki looks good though...

      Thank you very much. I use Sony Action Cams for the mobile footage, a bigger Sony Handycam HDR-PJ650 for the walk arounds and a Yuneec Typhoon H drone.

    There's a lot of complaints about the uncomfortably ROCK HARD seat. How did you find it ?

    How were the vibrations at different rpms?

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not an issue at all. It's very well built and we rode for hours at and near triple digit speeds, even at those high rpms and vibration or noise wasn't an issue for me.

    can you get tubeless tires for this?

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. I don't know the answer to that. It's not really an off-road bike, just OK for trail riding.

    I'm in love with that bike but it's 8.000$ in Costa Rica :( and tge average wage is at around 550$ for a regular job... So, fuck me.

      Same price here in Brazil... I would get really mad if I buy it and next year they upgrade the engine to 400 cc!

      Change Costa Rica for another country...work hard...buy the bike...return home...

    7 zillion rpm on the freeway

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, but you can't break the motor. It's loud but not unbearable, I rode 500 miles, in a full face helmet and the noise wasn't an issue. I had it over 100 mph and it was fine all day long, right at redline (12,000). That's the problem with that engine, nothing happens until 9,000 or so.

  • @fabioandrepais
    @fabioandrepais 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    looks so noisy... high rev all the time

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say loud, rather than noisy. I did a group ride with ten other Versys-X 250s and it wasn't crazy loud. I had a full face helmet and the noise didn't bother me, even after all-day rides. Thank you for watching.

      Luxury Fred I was thinking on buying a bike.. and this one kinda pulls me to it.. but I would be doing 120 km a day.. on the highway ... So I'm not sure if it would be enough for cruising this distances

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Are you a big guy or a smaller guy? That would affect my answer. It would be enough but if that's your main use for the bike, it may be better to get something a bit bigger. I rode about 500 miles in three days and I don't know if I would want to ride 120 km a day on the highway on it.

    • @fabioandrepais
      @fabioandrepais 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Luxury Fred hey I'm about 180 cm and 73 kgs. But for smoother runs It would be better getting a 500 plus cc right?

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, I think so. I had the Z650 and it was way more than enough power for freeway cruising.
