kvd isn't cocky at all , Kevin in fact is a very humble and giving man. But Kevin is the best tournament angler in the world, but he doesn't win them all, and when he doesn't win he graciously gives sincere congratulations to the winner. I can't think of anyone on the tournament circuit who doesn't like and respect #kevin_van_dam

VanDam and Kriet might be my favorite rivalry in professional bass fishing. Iaconelli and Reese is a good one, too. But the chemistry between these 2 has always made me laugh. And one of these days Kriet is going to take Kevin down in a major tournament. I "believe" in the Squirrel. Jeff is one of the funniest fisherman, too. Now we need a rival for Worldwide Watson. Maybe the G-Man...

How do you think he seems cocky? He just doesn’t really know what to say when someone calls him the greatest. He’s not cocky or a jerk. He’s just the best. His mind works differently than the rest. Humor is hard for him to find because he’s so serious about what he loves.
