I'm a big scorpions fan, and I have to say, I do think the original is the best but this version definately deserves some recognition. A very solid rendition by bruce. Up The Irons!
Hearing Maiden guiltars play The Zoo gives me full body chills. I love both versions but this has that Iron Maiden twist to it. It's absolutely awesome. .. I know it's Bruce not Maiden, but he still has that great Iron Maiden style.
Actually its only Roy Z on guitars (double tracked of course) as they were guest musicians on a compilation album made for the WWE I think. And by the sound and tone of the guitar, I think the cover is done around the Chemical Wedding era of Bruceys solo career.

I've never seen this song performed before by another artist. Bruce did this song his way. Iron Maiden's Best of the B Sides is a good cd. The legendary band does perform some great tunes from Jethro Tull to The Who and other covers.

I know where you're coming from but Final Frontier and Book of Souls is a real return to sound and creativity. The three guitars have struggled to find their compromising tones but they've gotten it together now. Great riffs and excellent creative time changes. Though I do wish for more solo stuff.
