The lotad counting as red when it was mainly blue, and the lombray counting as blue when it was mainly green brought me unimaginable amounts of pain
First of all the reason lotad looked blue is cause the sprite makes the lily pad cover most of its body in 3d it's half and half and also for the lombre listing closer to the beginning of the video they say that a dugtrio is blue because that's the only colour that changes is the nose so lombre being blue makes sense

When i saw that Baltoy my heart leapt. Thats my all time favourite Pokémon of all time, especially shiny- and for it to momentarily be so important to someone else too, even for a second.. that felt great.

Ok dude every video Mikey starts plotting more and more evil shenanigans, this time with the Lombre - Lotad ordeal, and im loving it
If Mikey had won with that chansey, I wouldn't have counted it in my mind. Like, it's clearly not orange, but if an impartial judge were to say that it counted as orange, or if you were to agree that it does count as orange, I could accept that. But "I'll give you the answer you want if you do this thing" is too much for me. At that point it wrecks the entire point of the competition.
I kinda feel the same about the Shiny Charmeleon being counted as orange. Its clearly yellow.
The point of the competition is to have fun

I've had the same issue with the sped up text before. It will only glitch and go empty if you turn it to fast in the game settings. If you leave the text speed at medium it'll be fully sped up.

To be fair, the shiny Lotad should(‘ve) count(ed) as purple, especially since you’re basically just adding more blue to a reddish purple, voiding the reddish part more and more. ;)
The shiny lombre should’ve counted as green since you consulted a judge to determine lotad’s color would be red based off of the bottom of it. With that same logic, lombre would be your green and maril wouldn’t count
