It is interesting that when we learn different perspectives, we can see the bigger picture & better understand others.

I love watching these videos. They bring to me such wonderful memories for me and my time on the rez with my family. The various regions of the rez are varied and beautiful. My family are from Aneth, UT. I am living now in North Carolina and almost everyday I miss my home and family members. Thank you for these videos. Nihzoni.

Thank you. You both have good vibes that create an expansive feeling, just like the scenery does.

Cell phones, iPads, games are making people lazy, less active… if I was still on the rez I’d be herding sheep, in the mean time I go to the gym and I’ve cut down on being on my phone and read books instead… Thanks for another interesting video, keep them coming 😊

If it wasn't for cell phones and iPhone and tablets. I'd never hear this or be able to speak with you. Yá'át'ééh abini. Spagoshi ahéhee.

@@nudoge you can still get information by word of mouth or talk with an elderly person, a medicine man or a prominent figure in a community not just by biligana made technology.

      You are lucky

You are lucky to have real people with good knowledge. I may live in a village that can raise me, but what if they are all idiots? Then, I would do the same and think no different.

Nizhoni hey Spagoshi! I very much appreciate your videos and the land we have in Dinétah. I have a question for Greg. He mentioned that why he doesn’t see anybody out there. Has anybody yelled at him out there that he can’t be hiking and running out there? It’s happen to me twice near that area and in MV. Use to not be like that back in the day when we use to take our horses out there to ride. Refers back to what Anthony Lee said about some of us diné claiming land and saying keep off. I’m from over the mountain and across the canyon from that area to the west in Kaibeto.

Great question, observation and cross referencing! He is puzzled about why he hasn't been approached as well. He said he's always on that trail and never sees anyone. But I agree, we claim too much of what we think is ours when it's really, we belong to the land. I've only been chased off of land in Corrales, NM because there wasn't a fence or signage up and an angry old man was yelling his head off. Your area is a beautiful area and a place I've passed many times since I was a small kiddo. Appreciate your insight and support! Check out Greg's latest video on his ultra running. Ahe' hee 🤙🏾

I went to school at MVHS AZ side. My Code Talker grandfather had a sheep camp near El Capitan. I spent one summer there. Yep! Grandpa S. T. Holiday was married to my great aunt Lupita. 😔 to this day I freaking hate my childhood. Like. Thanks. 😢

What about Blanco Canyon? It’s not connected to the main reservation.

I don't recall the boundaries off the top of my head of that area but it is our sacred area. I'll look into that and we've done an interview in that area at Cutter Canyon with Anthony Lee. A lot of history there. We appreciate your support and insights 🤙🏾
