they are "white nights" aquarelle opaque watercolour. I also fill the deep pans with tube gouache, so I have mix of paints in this palette. I got them years ago and they are from Russia and not sold in canada anymore. I just re use the empty pans by filling them up. I also love BEAM watercolour paints, have you tried those?
Hi Kathy! when its wet it can wipe off completely. When its dry it is stuck on there. I sometimes do a layer in oil afterwards for more finished pieces. I use this paper exclusively for oil paint and gouache. My process involves a lot of scanning for illustrations and its great that way. I can also cut things up and make collages . I have not had any troubles with it. I am not sure how archival it is but most of my work is completed as a digital piece once this sketch part has taken place. I am not precious with sketches! I have really loved the paper since it first came out, and can't recommend it enough. I should have mentioned that some of my paints are opaque watercolour as well. thanks for asking I hope this helps!
Glad to see you car-painting! I do this all the time. It takes a little pressure off being observed and sure helps in inclement weather.
Very true! I was super windy and cold that day, although it didn't look it with all the sunshine. Sometimes the car is perfect !
What paints are those? I’ve never seen pans that deep for gouache.

I have never heard of using gouache on yupo before! Does the gouache eventually stick to the yupo? Or do you only use this process in practice pieces?
