I am a 64-year-old post-menopausal woman. I also live in Texas where there is a ban. Just because it doesn't impact me personally, it impacts many many other women who live in this state. Politicians have NO business regulating a procedure that should be decided between a woman and her doctor.

I'm in my twenties and I (along with the vast majority of people my age) don't have cable, so it doesn't matter one bit what time he spoke- we're all watching it on TH-cam later, anyway! Plus, half the country is in an earlier timezone, so I really don't think it's all that big of a deal. He did brilliantly regardless.

Under his “leadership” Minnesota is in the top ten states for fleeing citizens, people taking their businesses, taxes and productivity with them. Walz was among the worst, most tyrannical governors during Covid, keeping citizens locked up in their homes, kids out of school and everyone masked longer than virtually every other state. He was among those governors who sent people infected with Covid into nursing homes unnecessarily killing elderly Minnesotans. And in the finest communist tradition of having informers on every block, he established a hot line for Minnesotans to snitch on their neighbors for violating his rules.
Among his other idiotic Covid rules was people eating at restaurants had to wear masks when standing, walking to and from their tables, or to restrooms, but not when they were sitting at their tables. Apparently viruses are only infectious above waist level in Minnesota.
But that’s not all Walz did. He authorized the police to shoot people for the crime of being on their porches. They shot people with paintball guns:

100% there's a reason one is required to be at least legally an adult to vote. It's bc we hope that these people will be ready to make adult decisions. Some people never are, but to me weighing your decision and gathering as much information as you can to make that choice is what leads a person to put country before party. It's the epitome of making an adult decision. Let's be honest, the likelihood of agreeing with anyone on every single issue is extremely rare. Adults get as close as possible to finding someone or a team of someone's that is for and not against their hopes for the nation. Adults compromise. Good politicians are able to do that. Showing up to say "Your party will still have representation in this bc we're all adult enough to work with each other though we have different views." sends a great message.

My son started college early this morning. We stayed up late to listen to the whole DNC opening night and Biden. We needed lotsa joe this morning after staying up to show our love for President Joe. I don't think that Biden is jealous. I think he's likely relieved bc he'd likely like to have more time to be with friends and family. He was in it because he sees Trump as a threat to the country. This jealousy narrative is lame. Now he gets to retire even more beloved by his party and supporters. If Harris/Walz wins what better way for him to enjoy his later years? 💙
