Let's hope that the corrupt officials will not team up the the Telcos to stop the whole operation. Starlink meant to be operational in Ggana by now.
I know big companies will start to switch to starlink which will definitely affect the telcos alot. I'm working on one for me and the people close to me since it can connect 128 devices with dedicated speed for each device. I will be making my own small network and if you join, you pay some small fee per month.

Ghana needs variety of them to make the competition tough for them so that they will all improve their services. This should have happened for long time just as in europe, many should come but because politicians are greedy they only loby for this foolish mtn and Telecell to take all our money for data.

Not when your dish has an actual connection to your device in the room. Some of those devices are paired. So a thief needs the two to sell successfully.
There's a link to your device account. Without the owner pass other party can't access it.

When you convert the amount paid in the UK for a full month’s data and with many devices connected, that same money cannot afford you such service in Ghana despite the huge conversion rate and economic difference. It’s high time someone bridges the gap. You can’t talk to family in Ghana for 10 minutes without complaints about poor network quality or insufficient bundles. In today’s global economy and job opportunities, It is difficult to have a successful an online in towns, except to travel to major cities for a stable a strong internet connection. These money they are charging largely end up siphoned out of the country. So if Elon Musk will do better and take away all the money, so be it.

They are theifs the will ask you to subscribe for a month but it will finish in just 3days I'm in Malaysia- KL I use hotlink if you purchase data for one it will finish exactly one month.

But the device is not cheap so it would be a solution for organisations. Kofi don't be deceived, satellite internet has it's on flaws too.
The standard kit was £300 but it's now £150 in the UK because they want customers to move to the new Gen3 dish. So you can get it cheaper elsewhere and use it in Ghana. That's what lots of people are doing.
