    Sir I have a question.
    "I am going" in this sentence 'am' is a helping verb and going is a main verb. According to your teachings if present participle is not verb then what is the main verb in above sentence..

    • @blackwolf8875
      @blackwolf8875 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this sentence going is a main verb.. in other case like he is averse to playing cards . playing is a pr. Participal. Koi v sentence k predicate show krta hai koi word kya hai..or apka sentence pura nhi hai. Go transitive verb hai need object

    • @sanupayasi3467
      @sanupayasi3467 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Here AM is a main verb because it will change if we change the tense (from present continuous to past aur future continuous) but going will not change and also it is gerund and will no consider as verb

    My friends laugh at me .
    Here the verb ' laugh ' is transitive or intransitive. ?? Sir kindly reply me. Here i m very consused. It look like
    # 'Laugh' is transitive because 'me ' receives that action.
    OR,
    # 'Laugh ' is intransitive because 'me' is an object of the preposition 'at' so the verb has no object.
    So here how can we define the verb is transitive or intransitive.
    Sir kindly clear My doubt. 🙏🙏

    • @designedsaharsh4339
      @designedsaharsh4339 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your second opinion is correct. The word 'Me' is the object of the preposition 'at' rather than the verb 'laugh'.
