      What Pigment did u use?

    I would have put the jelly on your hand before applying the heat helps making it thinner helps cover the tiny places faster uses less product.

    How much does it cost to make the tail

    • @Passionfruitdiy
      @Passionfruitdiy  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'll make a video on costs very soon :) It all depends on where you live and what choices you make (and if you fail a lot or not lol). I know for a lot of American people the costs start at about 700$ but for me it was less but I'll explain everything in a video because there is a lot to talk about. :)

    Is there an easier way to do this??

    • @Passionfruitdiy
      @Passionfruitdiy  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you mean to make a tail or just this process? There are easier ways to make tails but they won't really look realistic. You can make just a fabric one using spandex and a diy monofin, that's the easiest way :)

      did you watch them in order? I also did one video about trying different methods of painting on a small sample - it was just to show options. What I did in general was add a pigment to my silicone when casting the pieces and then added different pigments to silicone to paint over it and glue everything together. Feel free to ask if you have more questions ;)

      it's already done (finished yesterday but didn't have time to paint it and just moved to Scotland and I couldn't take it with me). I need to edit all the footage and my upload days are Mondays and Fridays so the video will be up on Monday probably. :)
