Callum constantly touching Ben, being supportive and letting him know that he's there for him, is what makes Callum who he is. He isn't weak, contrary to what some say. He is in fact resilient and has great character. People like Jack need to reserve their judgement because only Callum decides who he deserves ;) That aside, yeah Ben was harsh at the end, but Callum understands. He knows that Ben is grieving and on top of that, he was banned from the funeral. But Ben needs to accept that Callum is his support system and there is no shame in that. Once the walls around Ben come down, they will be stronger than ever. What Ballum share is real love. Yes, it's messy and complicated. But it's also rare. True love is always worth fighting for.
Ben is just lost in his own mind. The boy has too much on his shoulders...guilt(Callum kidnapped, etc), the grief for Dennis, and also struggling with his hearing loss. He was raised to not show fear and now, I think, he is in agonizing fear for the future and he doesn't know how to handle that feeling or everything else that is happening around him. My heart also hurts for Callum, but my hope stay's up for tomorrow's episode.💜😍

You can tell in this episode that Ben is trying his best to be nicer to Callum. But Ben is a proud man and it must be a kick in the teeth to have to be protected like this.
The feelings Ben is exhibiting shows that they really consulted people with disabilities for this storyline. The annoyances are just little pinpricks but they keep adding up over time until you blowup. I had a similar situation when my glasses broke and I couldn’t replace them immediately. It seemed Like every 5 seconds a co-worker would point out that my face was inches from the monitor like they making some freaking discovery and ask when I was getting my glasses like it wasn’t something I was already thinking about. I’m pretty sure they were just concerned but after hearing it over and over dozens of times I would get more and more terse until I would blow up. Hopefully Ben is like me as well and apologizes because you really should get angry at well intentioned people.
Donald Samuels I agree. They're really showing how it's affecting their relationship too. They need to talk about it if they're going to move forward as a couple.

Callum is a character but it is unrealistic for him to keep taking Ben abuse. People make excuses for Ben because they find him attractive. But they would not accept a male character verbally abuse a female character like this. Ben Mitchell is so mean spirited. Callum finally got some balls last episode but sadly he once again allows Ben to manipulate him. Ben knows Callum loves him but Ben doesn't really love Callum it is one sided it is an abusive relationship.

I am going to try and word this to the best of my abilities. I am so fed up with people in general saying Ben is being rude to Callum in the last scene of this episode, when you got a disability and you don’t know how to cope or deal with it, you feel so lost in your head. Btw, this is coming from a girl who has a muscle condition which has now turned into a disability and I had this condition since 2012. When I say this, I mean it, living with a disability and losing someone you love or a family member is so hard. You have times and moments when you don’t know how to deal with your feelings and emotions. Hope you all understand what I was trying to say.
He's definitely struggling with what many of us take for granted (hearing or not having any other disability), but I don't know if that would make me steal a car, while my partner was trying to become a cop?

It's not easy when you have grown up your whole life being told that showing emotions is a weakness, that needing help is a weakness. Ben is so messed up inside and completely loosing his hearing has made it so much worse and people getting in his face and yelling at him isn't going to make anything better. Callum is a wonderful boyfriend and their is no doubt in my mind that Ben knows that and appriciates it but what he dosn't know is how to accept his help without feeling weak so instedt he throws it back in his face, this is smth the both need to figure out how to get past. I totally understand the pain and grieving Ben is going through but he was well out of order telling Callum to get over himself when the day before Callum was ready to call it quits, you would think Ben would think twice about being mean to Callum the day after..hoping he will realise the error of his ways in tomorrows episode, there is only so much Callum can keep on taking...this relationship has to get back to give and take not just giving on Callums part.

Ben isn't angry about Callum at the end. He just doesn't want to be the disabled man in the pub and funeral. That's Ben doesn't want pity for him and his disability. He has so much to cope in a short period of time that he is stressed. But he knows he can rely on his boyfriend. And that's why we'll have the ily tomorrow.

Callum isn't happy the writers are clearly showing Callum frustration with Ben bad behavior. Callum survived being kidnapped Ben did not visit him in the hospital. Right now this is a one sided relationship. Callum being used by Ben and degraded by him. Callum taking the abuse. This is not love. Callum deserves better than Ben Jack is right.

Its a shame ben got banned from the funeral but i honestly don’t blame sharon at all since she’s a greiving mother and her actions are completely understandable. I think it will be painful for him to lose him right as he’s about to tell him he loves him but Callum has been chasing him for almost 6 months if not more and Ben has done and said some really hurtful things. As far at the audience knows, Callum doesn’t know the torture Ben went through when he was kidnapped. They never really talked about the pain of the breakup. We never saw Ben thank Callum for the wallet. We’ve seen Callum (unnaturally) bounce back from his kidnapping and torture the same happy go lucky unscathed Callum still chasing Ben. For what? What has Ben done besides push him to come out to deserve that devotion. He told Stuart no to helping plan a birthday party. I mean I get it, a lot of stuff has happened but he’s complicit in a lot of it as well. I LOVE watching these characters, their chemistry is off the charts but as a realist I struggle with the portrayal of Callum. I finally started being invested when he went off last week but he’s back to taking the abuse. Hopefully tomorrow he decides to put himself first.

Why is it that as soon as characters become as popular as Ben & Callum that the writers want to split them up every episode. One week we have hope that nothing will come between them such is the love they have for each other then the next episode us the fans are left in disbelief & concern that they will be split up. There seems to be no follow up from episode to episode. I so much want these 2 to be happy & for them to work through any obstacles. Soulless Husk yea, everything feels a bit fast. I can totally understand they don’t put Ben and Callum in the front al the time, especially since both the coming out- story and the kidnapping took a lot of space and they need to make rooms for other characters for a while- but I dunno, the pacing, especially in this ep, feels uncharacteristically fast. But maybe it’s due to the change of airing schedule as well. This was written to be a 1/4 of a weeks content, not 1/2.

Jack needs to actually go away and to leave Callum alone. He's just trying to support his greving boyfriend and Ben wasn't even doing anything for jack to say that Callum needs to think about his career, like is the police all jack thinks about because it's getting boring now. Also Callum being there and supporting Ben, is amazing and all of the little touches are beautiful. But jack serously need to just leave Ben and Callum alone, he's needs to focus on his own live and relationship instead getting invested into callums.
Jack experienced first hand how the Mitchells are, Phil savagely beat him up and almost killed him, mistakenly thinking he had slept with Sharon, while Ben only stopped it to not get caught (and then tries to get Keanu assassinated). Now Callum is in the process of becoming a cop and his infamous boyfriend is caught stealing a car and making shady deals, then needs to be saved again and again from the law.

He's been doing nothing but illegal and immoral stuff the last few months. Great example for his kid too.. Like Callum said himself last week to Ben: "you don't even care about my problems." Only under threat of break up would Ben listen and today he's already back being difficult towards Callum, who's done nothing but support; despite his own issues.

Phil told Ben to put the blame on him, but he's coming back for whatever reason. That's why Ben should have stayed far away from any criminal activity, but he doesn't. The exact point is that people with Callum's pov in mind (his brother, Jack), have told him to rethink Ben, cause they know what he's like.

If you actually watch EastEnders then you would know about Chantelle and gray, he physically abuses her and makes her feel like that it was her fault. The annoyances are just little pinpricks but they keep adding up over time until you blowup. I had a similar situation when my glasses broke and I couldn’t replace them immediately. It seemed Like every 5 seconds a co-worker would point out that my face was inches from the monitor like they making some freaking discovery and ask when I was getting my glasses like it wasn’t something I was already thinking about. I’m pretty sure they were just concerned but after hearing it over and over dozens of times I would get more and more terse until I would blow up. Hopefully Ben is like me as well and apologizes because you really should get angry at well intentioned people.

Callum is a character but it is unrealistic for him to keep taking Ben abuse. People make excuses for Ben because they find him attractive. But they would not accept a male character verbally abuse a female character like this. Ben Mitchell is so mean spirited. Callum finally got some balls last episode but sadly he once again allows Ben to manipulate him. I am going to try and word this to the best of my abilities. I am so fed up with people in general saying Ben is being rude to Callum in the last scene of this episode, when you got a disability and you don’t know how to cope or deal with it, you feel so lost in your head. Btw, this is coming from a girl who has a muscle condition which has now turned into a disability and I had this condition since 2012. When I say this, I mean it, living with a disability and losing someone you love or a family member is so hard. You have times and moments when you don’t know how to deal with your feelings and emotions. Hope you all understand what I was trying to say.

It's not easy when you have grown up your whole life being told that showing emotions is a weakness, that needing help is a weakness. Ben is so messed up inside and completely loosing his hearing has made it so much worse and people getting in his face and yelling at him isn't going to make anything better. Callum is a wonderful boyfriend and their is no doubt in my mind that Ben knows that and appriciates it but what he dosn't know is how to accept his help without feeling weak so instedt he throws it back in his face, this is smth the both need to figure out how to get past.

I think it will be painful for him to lose him right as he’s about to tell him he loves him but Callum has been chasing him for almost 6 months if not more and Ben has done and said some really hurtful things. As far at the audience knows, Callum doesn’t know the torture Ben went through when he was kidnapped. They never really talked about the pain of the breakup. We never saw Ben thank Callum for the wallet. We’ve seen Callum (unnaturally) bounce back from his kidnapping and torture the same happy go lucky unscathed Callum still chasing Ben. For what? What has Ben done besides push him to come out to deserve that devotion. He told Stuart no to helping plan a birthday party. I mean I get it, a lot of stuff has happened but he’s complicit in a lot of it as well. I LOVE watching these characters, their chemistry is off the charts but as a realist I struggle with the portrayal of Callum. I finally started being invested when he went off last week but he’s back to taking the abuse. Hopefully tomorrow he decides to put himself first.

I can totally understand they don’t put Ben and Callum in the front al the time, especially since both the coming out- story and the kidnapping took a lot of space and they need to make rooms for other characters for a while- but I dunno, the pacing, especially in this ep, feels uncharacteristically fast. But maybe it’s due to the change of airing schedule as well. This was written to be a 1/4 of a weeks content, not 1/2.

He's just trying to support his greving boyfriend and Ben wasn't even doing anything for jack to say that Callum needs to think about his career, like is the police all jack thinks about because it's getting boring now. Also Callum being there and supporting Ben, is amazing and all of the little touches are beautiful. But jack serously need to just leave Ben and Callum alone, he's needs to focus on his own live and relationship instead getting invested into callums.
Jack experienced first hand how the Mitchells are, Phil savagely beat him up and almost killed him, mistakenly thinking he had slept with Sharon, while Ben only stopped it to not get caught (and then tries to get Keanu assassinated). Now Callum is in the process of becoming a cop and his infamous boyfriend is caught stealing a car and making shady deals, then needs to be saved again and again from the law.

Ben's family and friends seems to rather love Callum and looking out for him, he's been through a lot lately, if not more than Ben, yet he's always the supportive, compromising one, but it's close to break point.

Ben is out of line and once again Jack is right. This is an abusive relationship. I doubt people would be thrilled if a male character treated a female character badly like this. If a man yelled at woman constantly people would be outraged and upset. Just because Ben and Callum are a gay couple does not excuse Ben pernicious behavior. Callum puts up with so much of Ben drama.

This isn't an abusive relationship, please show me how because I'm just not seeing it . If you actually watch EastEnders then you would know about Chantelle and gray, he physically abuses her and makes her feel like that it was her fault. With Ben and Callum they have a normal arguments, like any other couple and it's not abusive in anyway. You need to know what abuse is before you start throwing that word around for any relationship thats having an argument or they've fallen out with eachother. Ben only lashed out because he's dealing with a lot right now, he's completely lost his hearing and couldn't even go to his brothers funernal. Also jack should butt out of other people's lives and relationship and focus on his own.
