Ok, so how many actually understand how much this band with amazing fidelity is not a derivation or evolution of, but rather an actual direct continuation of 2000's techno pop punk emo? So many of these tracks "scream" Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, All-American Rejects, Metro Station, Sum 41, etc. Mix in a minor modern element like MGK-style stuff, but basically this had a real undertow of 2000's whilst being in whatever stuff that is considered popular nowadays. I love it.
the bit before he played mad all the time, sounds like that music from the one episode of spongebob. the one where he met the surfer. like high hippie people music vibes. if that makes sense?
