Owners should get something like this when they purchase a stove. Some people neglect cleaning/maintenance and then wonder why they start experiencing problems. Thanks for sharing and I hope more people watch.
If you have a new Piazzetta pellet stove, replace all the carbon steel screws, inside the burn area, with stainless steel screws. The carbon steel screws will corrode from the heat and flames, and may be difficult to impossible to remove without being damaged by the screw driver. Be sure that you replace the screws with the appropriate type, i.e. metric screws with metric or SAE screws with SAE.
I have the P163T stove in cream . Thanks for your video . I have hoovered out a ton of ash from under that metal plate . I didn’t even know that it came off. How do I remove the sides and the front to check and clean it ?
Good review. Thanks. I took a look, but I searched and couldn't find the seal rite 800 F sealeant for the bottom plate. Good idea, though, because the original adhesive on that flat rope fails pretty quickly. If anyone could post a link, that'd be helpful. Thanks. One question: do you have any tips for cleaning the horizontal pipe that goes out the back of the stove and up the chimney? Is there a way to get that horizontal pipe cleaned out? That's where I'm stuck. Thanks again!
That fan in the combustion area, at least with my Piazzetta, blows ash into the pipe leading to the chimney. That short pipe can fill up with ash and restrict air flow. I found that a tube sold to clean out dryer lint, which is attached to the hose of your vacuum cleaner, can be pushed into the hole leading to the back of the stove. It is the same hole that the fan you can see in the video, blows the ash into. The tube is plastic! It is imperative that the stove has cooled off sufficiently to not melt the plastic tube!! If the metal of the stove is too warm to touch and keep your fingers on the metal, it is too hot to clean!
Hey, nice video!!! I ve a question, if the sweeping and cleaning is done, how can I make the counter for the using hours back on zero, can you tell me please. Thanks a lot,
Hey Dennis, what unit do you have..is it an older one or a 2.0?? The instructions should be in the manual but please let us know if you need more guidance!
Hi à got a Piazzetta Sabrina and the stove never stop. The temperature get up and never stop ! The energy saving is on but I think it not working. Do you have any ideas what is the problem ?
Have a bottle of wine when you're ready to do this on a 'not brand new' stove. Great video, and I love my piazzeta but you might want to consider hiring someone to clean it properly. I'm exhausted and when he says 'just vacuum' have tiny attachments to get in places he needs to get to. Love my stove, but ridiculous to clean.
Pat, this helped me A LOT. My stove is now running beautifully again thanks to you. Appreciate you putting this together. Thank you.

I’ve figured out how to get the side panels off . I discovered another small round hatch that had a ton of ash inside .
