makes it harder for you too wheelie, so you can accelerate harder and not lift with a extended swing arm :) thats why they put them on drag bikes and somtimes superbikes etc :)
1:02 this is the pilot speaking, please fasten your seatbelts for take off. Todays weather is all sun no clouds with a slight chance of wind turbulance I hope you enjoy your flight....
So if you have a turbo on a bike could you also change the rear sprocket to a smaller one and make the bike go further for each shift....? Btw not a biker just asking folks
No, it'd just gear it higher. Less rpms in top gear, also less rps in 1st gear, in turn Less torque in lower rpm range. You would really just need to get a different transmission. Each gear is spaced wound 1 to 1.5k rps apart, at least on my bike.
You can add turbo to bikes. But you need to control the torque produced by turbo. It will have lot of wheel spin when you set off. Or else you will really fly high in the sky
+Edgardo Alejo naka Cams at Piston + Block and ring 28 carbs and i Tuned the Turbo for Anti lag cause its pretty dam Lag the Laggy turbo punch at 4 000 Rpm and now It punches at 2 000 Rpm just by tuning it
I have a 1985 suzuki gs700 and am looking to add turbo for a project. the motor is not going to stay in the frame but be used in a dune buggy. I need info on getting a turbo for the motor.
a ihi from an isuzu impulse should be really close. get mig welder with stainless wire and tubing bends from jegs or whatever get flanges water jetted out from flatstock from onlinemetals or local, mount high enough for turbo to drain naturally when plumbed back into the engine and mount the oil cooler where its convenient. if learning to weld is an obstacle , farm it out to a good local welder you trust. make an airbox of sorts like the other blow through bikes seen on the interwebs. make sure it has generous volume as possible it'll be easier to tune. get a wideband, test the jetting with 120 octane so your less likely to melt it with a mistake while jetting (with a wideband). find a good spot to do wide open throttle jetting testing. find out when the law enforcement in the area has shift changes for test runs. start with stock jetting or just a bit richer to start on the mains. plumb carb vents to pitot (yes, pitot (spelling)) tube. oh yeah go through the carbs and replace all the orings and rubber stuff so the boost doesn't leak out. use electric injection style pump with a dirtbike style on off valve. plumb tank for return. use mallory 3 port fuel regulator set to 2 psi above plenum boost. look at all the other sucessful carbed blow through bikes on the web. don't run stupid boost. run like 5 and see if you make it through tuning even then it would be a riot, if it lives at 5 pat yourself on the back, get the serious leaded gas again and nudge the boost up then. you sure as heck picked a project. research everything i mentioned and more. you'll need a pile of stubborn motivation to finish it. i hope you have it. because it would be badass. call it a research project
Who the hell is capable of controlling 600hp motorbike?? It is so fucking awesome but yet practically completely useless. When the turbo spools up there is no way on earth to keep the front wheel down even on the 6th gear...
don't believe i would want a turbo on a bike, to unpredictable and when the boost rolls on you had better be ready. a supercharger on the other hand that is a different story, more predictable consistent power.
i know this is an old post, but supercharging a motorcycle isnt easy unless the engine has an external pulley of some sort. you would need to make an external pulley to drive the supercharger and not get your leg stuck up in it as well. this is why you never see supercharged bikes.
Been riding my 900rr with turbo intercooler and it’s not a issue at all. It’s smooth as👌🏻 I tried last year to do 350km/h but i backed out because i was catching up the other traffic so fucking fast so i stopped at 327 gps km/h

1:01 that's not a turbo, it's the king of all turbos, it's a turbine engine
0:25 dat blowoff sound
1:00 it isn't turbo, instead it is pure turbine engine of Y2K
600 HP on a bike is insane. Twist that throttle and it's gonna launch you to the moon. As much as I love power I gotta say that's just too much.
Agreed a little to much power for a bike
Kristian Kumpula lmao, more like all the way to another galaxy! I already think 50hp is enough, crazy technology man
ถ ถถะัึ
I think 200hp is insane
150 is usually enough for some crazy times on a lightweight bike
0:25 that GSXR was turning Super Saiyan
That looks kind of fucking terrifying.
the one at 1:20 isnt a turbo bike, its a jet turbine bike.
Incredible Power With Turbo / Turbine
MICHAEL J ARCHIBALD turbos and turbines are very different. but run off the same principle.
Y2k
Turbine and turbo runs under the same principle but are different concepts
Turbo shaft maybe :D
4:00 look at that chain stretch!
Ah, I don't that's the chain stretching...it's just flapping it's slack on decel.
4:19 look at the chain when the turbo kicks in, it looks like its gonna break!
+casey escobar nah! just look from another angle. it's way stronger than a normal chain. not even Mr T could handle this chain! ;)
chill buddy. i just saw i was answering the wrong person.... -.-
I bet you drive a VTEC Honda.
see kids this is when you might actually need an extended swing arm
What does an extended swing arm help with?
I honestly thought it was just for looks...
makes it harder for you too wheelie, so you can accelerate harder and not lift with a extended swing arm :)
thats why they put them on drag bikes and somtimes superbikes etc :)
oohh alright that makes sense.
But wouldn't that cause massive stress on the swing arm? Im assuming they're build for it pretty well.
yeah quite strong :)
James Lyons Hey thats a nice DRZ you got in your pic. Is she yours?
1:02 this is the pilot speaking, please fasten your seatbelts for take off. Todays weather is all sun no clouds with a slight chance of wind turbulance I hope you enjoy your flight....
Once that chain comes off its goodbye leg..
only few minor scratches at most. btw the chain is mint
Don't take these chains for granted..
this video reminds me the sweet turbo era 10 years ago... rest in peace ghost rider
Not sure if he's dead or not, ghost rider rides on!
Zubatec Im pretty sure Ghost rider is still alive.
The weight to hp ratio must be fucking incredible on those :D
From crotch rocket to crotch shooting star, this is madness!
genre la moto a une dump valve!! pure délire!! #bike
1:26 turbo busa - ghost rider *-*
am I missing something about bike performance or is that chain at 2:18 look loose as hell and potentially dangerous??
on the last dyno video, it just made me think about how bad it would be if that chain snapped.
FML, I so want one of those 600+HP Busa's
Guy at 0:21 needs to stretch his bike
the last one was a killer
The fine art of spending great deals of energy and money to make a perfectly good motorcycle last a very short time.
Shut up you know you're jealous
Spoken like an expert from someone who clearly can't afford or handle one 👏
the one at 1:03 i actualy a turbine enginge. no turbo
read description
@Bernardo Santos Read the title
Y2K with a heli turbine :)
Good luck and all the best !
That is one heck of a chain at the end

Last bike 607 horse power ? didi i seen it corect ?
607hp is that what I seen at the end
imma need a bottle of that stuff he squirts in at the last motor lol
Can't find the original video for the first one I seem to have watched it years ago!
Pure Chuck Norris sweat
That guy should really use a Eddie current brake type dyno
Intercooler spray! Google it! :)
water and dish soap on joints of charge pipe to check for boost leaks
The last bike had over 600 hp xD
cooooooooooool man

Lots of dyno testing.. but nobody showing the results !
My seeing that right.... that last bike made 607hp?
I put hispeed Turbo on my 135cc yamaha Sniper for experimentations.. And well tune Suspension and i hit 190

its the chain stretching under load
should try our products zddp maxx and turbo maxx improves engine life helps clutch grab taking the bike world by storm
The fourth one isnt a turbo its a turboshaft powered bike
At 3:37 you can actually see the engine has caused a disturbance in the space time continuum
cool sir :D

R S use a Garrett gt12 turbo. You have to get a custom turbo manifold and custom piping. Get a really good tune if you want it to last

its where hes engine breaking i think
Where are the two strokes?
You don't want to turbo two strokes, it messes with the tune of the pipe.
Mason Cleveland then put the turbo behind the pipe ;) like 50cc World record
***** No kidding! that'd be pretty sweet. Now I'm probably going to have to try it haha
Mason Cleveland ;)
1st Turbo for public , is CX 500 Honda Turbo , and better CX 650 Turbo
Woow 😮
OSTIASSSSS!!!!
Power nih
soapy water, to proof the boost, if there is a leckage.. sorry for bad english, i'm german
most likely water to help the intercooler temps
Water onto the intercooler and radiator to cool the bike before he make a run
why the hell is your name cleaner i mean seriously
Who the hell is capable of controlling 600hp motorbike?? It is so fucking awesome but yet practically completely useless. When the turbo spools up there is no way on earth to keep the front wheel down even on the 6th gear...

It's a jet engine powered motorcycle you can google it.
1:00 no es una moto con turbo ,esa es una Y2K y usa un motor de helicoptero.
