    Hands down, Vaj Yim Leej was my favorite fictional hero growing up. This movie was well crafted and it sums our recent history well. Till this day, I highly recommend the movie to kids in order to see our history in a visual lense.

      @@bt9387I totally agree. Part 2 ruined this movie. Part 2 was basically a copy of the movie Rambo 2 in my opinion.

    one of the greatest hmong movie ever. after this movie, hmong movie went down hill. instead of going forward, they're going backward. its 2020 and they still making movie like its still in the 80s or worse. what's worse is hmong american with all these money and technology, they still make worse movie than those in 3rd world country like laos, thailand. damn.

    • @disappearintothesea
      @disappearintothesea 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. Imagine if people were still making movies like this with great story telling instead of the dumb slapstick crap the 2000s were saturated with. And to be honest, I stopped watching hmong movies a long time ago so I have no idea what's going on in the industry.

    Ive had suspicions about hmong being entirely innocent in this time. Theyve lived on the in or around this nation and they get hunted out of nowhere? Must have been a falling out of either side, or they sided with the western world and got massacred . I suppose that would explain why the hmong written language is all alphabet and we have no actual writing system of our own, like our chinese ancestors. Though i could really care less about our history, just my thoughts

    • @hdggt
      @hdggt วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      No one is innocent in times of war. Not the Pathet Laos, not the North Vietnamese, not the Russians, China, South Vietnam, or the indigenious tribes. NONE. War itself is a crime against Humanity. But the sufferings from all sides are validated. So either you have a malevolent reasoning behind your opinion in singling out the Hmong, or either you're clueless about war.
