Yet they still vote on much smaller issues (farm subsidies, gun rights etc.) and its becoming a very big problem for everyone. Too many single issue voters are less concerned about major issues like student loan relief, affordable health care, prescription drug reform, voting rights, social security, medicare and affordable housing.
Very few of those issues matter to working class in middle America. They didn't go to college, their housing is affordable. Healthcare has some hope for getting traction and so does drug reform. Voting rights is a non-starter.

I don't base my morals off my president. I based it off policy and how will they do. Bill Clinton will always go down alongside Obama, Biden, Nixon and Bush as the most corrupt officials in government in US history who have done more damage to this country and 22 yrs Then all of the worst US presidents prior to them combined. Now all that being said, aside from the Monica Lewinsky scandal and a few other things, Bill Clinton was a pretty good president. The economy was fantastic under him. Policy-wise he was quite similar to Donald Trump in 2016. Most people don't know this because they're ignorant and have no remembrance of what these guys advocated for and where they stood on many things. In fact Donald Trump is one of the most classically liberal presidents we've had since Clinton and Reagan. People who think Donald Trump is a conservative or right wing is not only fundamentally wrong but incredibly effing stupid with not even a remedial basis of knowledge of political policy or ideology. So despite the fact that Bill Clinton is a horrible human being and he's also nothing like he was when he was president, If I could somehow pluck the old Clinton out of the '90s and put him into the 2028 election alongside 90% of the Republican Party that I think it would be highly unlikely that I would not vote for him.

The Clintons spent their career trying to appeal to Republican voters rather than appealing to the progressive base of the Democratic party. That strategy may have worked for Clinton twenty years ago, but to try that in 2024 was just stupid. Having Kamala campaign with Liz Cheney was definitely Bill and Hillary's idea.
