Hey, the balloon has to be filled with air. You need to check the given specifications of the balloon. Secondly, it can be deflated after opening of the cap.
A very good question. Yeah, the structure was reinforced in the decking slab. Since the width of the culvert is short, you can construct it without any rebars in the wall. However, in case the width was above 1.2m, rebars should have been used. Hope I'm able to explain it to you. Cheers!
What about the bottom and the sides? No iron rods needed at those places? Without iron rods, can the structure withstand heavy loads such as tipper trucks loaded with sand or chippings?
There is a special attention which should be given as regards to bottom and sides reinforcement, which is missing, though concrete is strong, but can't withstand certain loads
That's why construction is so interesting. 😊 Well, it is strong enough to hold the weight. On the following working day, we remove it after deflating the balloon/blow up mould. Hope I'm able to answer your question. Thanks!
This wing wall is simply designed and constructed for the ring culvert. The main purpose is to stop erosion of laterite. Hope it answers your question. Thank you.
There is reinforcement on the slab/decking. You may also check out my other videos to get the idea. I always use Y10, Y12 & Y16 mm reinforcement bars for the decking/slab. Thank you.
The balloon u used, I've never seen it nor heard about it. But my question is, how do u cast the concrete on top of the balloon without the balloon bursting? How do u go about it?
Hi, the balloon doesn't burst. It's strong and durable. However, care must be taken. After fixing balloon, concrete is casted to a thickness of 5 to 7cm and then rebars are placed. Lastly concrete is poured again on top of rebars. Thank you.
Total concrete volume is 17cu.m So, you may decide to put the rate of per cubic meter concrete as per the costs of your city/town. Hope it is helpful. Thank you.
Hi, I think you're looking for the area. Divide the apron into 1 square and 2 triangles then calculate the 3 areas. After getting these 3 areas, you may add them to get complete area. Hope it's clear. Thank you.
Base thickness = 0.25m In to In height = 0.9m Decking Slab thickness = 0.25m Head wall Height = 0.6m (you may raise or reduce it, as per your requirement). Thank you.
Hey Jantali, kindly check out my other videos, I also used RCC prefabricated pipes. Both methods are good. Balloon is also an inexpensive method, which can be used if you don't have the availability of RCC pipe/rings. Hope you understand, thank you.
You may save transportation charges of RCC rings and go with balloon. However, both are inexpensive and decent ways of construction of Pipe Culvert. Thank you.
It depends on what additives are added to the mix, if a super plastisiser is added then vibrating will ruin the mix the concrete settles to its finished level by itself.
Can you show how much the strength of the Ballon and how it is deflated to have it removed?
Hey, the balloon has to be filled with air. You need to check the given specifications of the balloon. Secondly, it can be deflated after opening of the cap.
Ma Sha Allah, Good Job
Thank you.

Amazing 😍
Thank you so much 👍
@@civilengineerishaqsohag 😊
Good job dear ❤
Thank you so much brother 🙏🏻🌹
Have you reinforced the main structure? I have not seen that aspect. Showing that aspect would have made your video fantastic.
A very good question.
Yeah, the structure was reinforced in the decking slab.
Since the width of the culvert is short, you can construct it without any rebars in the wall.

@@solomonyemidi3203 yes, the structure can withstand the load. However, you have to make sure that you use the appropriate grade of concrete.
There is a special attention which should be given as regards to bottom and sides reinforcement, which is missing, though concrete is strong, but can't withstand certain loads
Hi lovely work which material is that on the balloon doesn't seem to be a tube
Hi, it's a rope which was used to tighten it with the iron hooks.
I have been in the concrete and pipe industry my whole life and ive never seen a blow up mould before how do they hold up to the weight and demoulding
That's why construction is so interesting. 😊
Well, it is strong enough to hold the weight. On the following working day, we remove it after deflating the balloon/blow up mould.
Hope I'm able to answer your question.
Thanks!
Good job
Great job! Welldone
Thank you so much
Will the balloon can be removed and reused ?
Yeah, it can be easily removed and reused again.
Good work bro 👍👍🙏🙏
Maashaa Allah, can we use steel barrel instead of the balloon. And can the roadway be 3m high from the culvert. Thank you.
Hi, yes it's possible. There's no issue.
Thanks.
There's a lot of luck design for reinforcement specially in wingwall. But i don't think so where is the place is this.
This wing wall is simply designed and constructed for the ring culvert. The main purpose is to stop erosion of laterite.
Hope it answers your question.
Thank you.
thanks for the video. i love it
You're welcome.
Thank you. 👍🏻
شكرا جزيلا thanks alot
How come you didn't use any form of reinforcements. I ask because usually precast 900mm culvert rings are made with wire mesh. Thank you
Hi, yeah I used single mat of reinforcement bars in the decking only.
Thanks.
Since the width of culvert is short, you can just use rebars in decking only. Hope this answers your question. Thank you.
Very helpful
Hard work!!
Thanks dear.
why nothing iron for structure box culvert?
It's width is minimal. This is the reason why, only rebars can be placed in decking.
Thanks!
What was the mix ratio
The Concrete Grade is C20 & mix ratio is 1:2:4.
Thank you.
No reinforcement on d slab ?
There is reinforcement on the slab/decking.
You may also check out my other videos to get the idea. I always use Y10, Y12 & Y16 mm reinforcement bars for the decking/slab.

Culvert price please batao
Hi, it depends upon different factors such as cost of iron, concrete, formwork, labor, transportation, etc.
where is this?
It's in Nigeria.
Imo
What will be the estimated cost of this culvert?
Total concrete volume is 17cu.m
So, you may decide to put the rate of per cubic meter concrete as per the costs of your city/town.
Hope it is helpful.
Thank you.
Thank u sir
You're welcome.
How do you calculate the length and width of apron?
Hi, I think you're looking for the area.
Divide the apron into 1 square and 2 triangles then calculate the 3 areas. After getting these 3 areas, you may add them to get complete area. Hope it's clear.
Thank you.
It depends on the angle of the wing walls
Powerful
Thanks a lot. 😊
Which country is this?
Nigeria.
Really a tough work
Indeed, thank you so much for the appreciation.
Please see Lafarge Canada lol
Sure. Thank you.
How much is the pressure u added..is it 10bar or 15
It was 15 bar. Thank you
Measurements of this culvert please
Base thickness = 0.25m
In to In height = 0.9m
Decking Slab thickness = 0.25m
Head wall Height = 0.6m (you may raise or reduce it, as per your requirement).
Thank you.
Meaningless expensive method, instead of balloon why you are not used even non pressure RCC pipe which may call Pipe Casing culvert.
Hey Jantali, kindly check out my other videos, I also used RCC prefabricated pipes. Both methods are good.
Balloon is also an inexpensive method, which can be used if you don't have the availability of RCC pipe/rings. Hope you understand, thank you.

I appreciate your kind comment, thank you.🙏🙏
Will work on it but you can see my new videos and see the change. 😊

Thanks for the useful video,
If you provide me your email, or WhatsApp l will send you a clips , how we do our precast concrete culvert pipes.
You're welcome.
Yeah sure. It is ishaq_sohag@live.com
Is compaction is needed for concrete or not
Hey!
Yeah, it's has to be vibrated well. Moreover, tapping of concrete should be done with the help of long/short range.
Hope it is helpful. Thanks
It depends on what additives are added to the mix, if a super plastisiser is added then vibrating will ruin the mix the concrete settles to its finished level by itself.
