Evo Moment 37 will live down in infamy. Almost 20 years later (it'll be the big anniversary come EVO in June) and it's still one of the most recognizable scenes in fighting game history. And Justin Wong is forever haunted by it, whenever he plays Street Fighter III online it keeps happening to him XD

As someone who only follows LoL and Melee seriously (in terms of esports), Flowers casting Mango vs Leff is one the ultimate crossover experiences... absolutely sick.
Be really cool if we got to see Flowers cast some traditional sports moments as well.
Little extra context I love about the leffen vs mango set was this was peak tsm vs c9 days. Leffen signing to Tsm after Mango signed with c9 years ago really solidified this rivalry in a way that felt official on top of the legitimate beef the two had at the time

Melee is fucking sickkkk. I don't play the game, but the storylines and history is amazing, and there's plenty of fanmade documentaries that kinda catch you up or serve as time capsules to certain eras of the competitive scene.

That melee commentary was unreal, gotta commentate a set or two live. That was amazing.
so hitch from optic runs a yearly event called the off-season. basically its a charity event he sets up and has different games and melee is a permanent spot in the event. he also loves to put people tht never played the game or dont know the game as casters. i think one year he had the cod casters do it. i would love to see captain flowers at that event casting different games he doesnt know much about cause man he is so damn fun and energetic to watch.

Hes ‘blocking’ every single kick. It’s not a frame perfect window, closer to a 10 frame window. Still amazing just inaccurately explained.
Would love to see more, although I think flowers got too much context. Team names and tournament information before the clip then important context after. Cause him knowing what will happen in the clip is unnecessary. Loved it!

Also you should try to co-stream the Valorant Master grand finals in a couple weeks.
