it's not just because he recognized the song... imagine someone singing high notes like that and the second after he starts to sing a rap song... it's just normal to hit the button
It's a testament to the lyrical genius of Eminem that anyone can cover Lose Yourself and judges slam the button before the first verse is over... Except the French pianist... who demonstrated melodic and vocal brilliance. Honourable mention to the woman in denim... who put her own flair into the arrangement and had strong vocals throughout.
