I love your video, thanks for sharing it with us... I hope someday I get there to take some photos of those beautiful places you know... see ya soon :)
Zoom change is awesome @1.36, is that a function of your cam block?, also that night shot at the end is stunning, how do you get that effect of the luminosity at night and as well as the starts being so bright without using a long exposure? Cheers, great work!
Hi Davina, thanks for the kind feedback... I actually love the You Yangs myself very much, therefore I wanted to do them justice... the two last shots at night are the Big Rock and the Flinders Peak... in You Yangs :)
Hi Pejobri, thank you for the comment, you are too kind :) It is actually the slider combined with a cheap Merlin telescope head rotating in such a fashion that the slider never comes in shot... so there is bit more calculating before that shot is made, but especially for the flow of the video I find it worked quite well...
Geelong is my home and this is an awesome video :) However where is the you yangs ???? Whenever I have travelled and am making my way home its the sight of the you yangs that tells me I am almost home and no video would be complete without them
A wonderful portrayal of Geelong and surrounds. Beautiful. Love the nostalgia that some of these images give including my old school.
