It you guys want to make a beautiful trip then go to "Geierlay Hängeseilbrücke" in "Mörsdorf". Mörsdorf is actually 2h from Marburg with the car. This spot is the most beautiful Suspension bridge in Germany. It is realy breathtaking. The best time to be there is at 7-9 in the morning. After then on the way back home you can stop in "Wierschem" and visit "Eltz castle".The Castle is very beautiful too. There are englisch guide tours, you realy have to do them they are great! There is a little restaurant in the castle you can sit there and eat "Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat" for lunch. I think your wife will love it and you and Conner will like it too! :)
Your progress with German is honestly really amazing, you keep surprising me anew every single day. No way I have that exact same Bonsai, I just got it a few months ago as my "first plant". That Bonsai needs more care than a pet haha. Never forget to water it and you better put that tree inside!

The building you don't know about is the "Universitätskirche". It's from 1291 and was a cloister church at first. During secularisation church went to Philipps-University. The original cloister was build new an holds the faculty of protestant theology.

Oh boy, you bought yourself the equivalent of an demanding wife as a plant. Nice to look a for sometime but a lot of maintenance to do to keep her happy. Make sure to get the right bonsai fertilizer and water it regularly (they usually need just a small sip but several times a week) and do some reading on treating it properly. Otherwise its gonna die really quick 😅

Bonzai's can be really tricky to care for! Good luck~ I would recommend looking up care tips to make sure dein Baum stays happy and alive!
Like the thing with your tree is that it’s a bonsai and it depends on its species but some can only be watered with rain water so take care of him🤗
