নসিপুর রেল ব্রিজ নতুন আপডেট | Nashipur Rail Bridge Latest Construction Update
নশিপুর রেল সেতু বা নশিপুর - আজিমগঞ্জ রেল সেতু পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার ভাগীরথী নদীর ওপারে মুর্শিদাবাদ রেলওয়ে স্টেশন এবং আজিমগঞ্জ জংশন রেলওয়ে স্টেশনকে সংযুক্ত করবে । 785 মিটার দীর্ঘ সেতুটি ব্রিটিশ শাসনামলে বিদ্যমান ছিল এবং পরবর্তীতে দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের সময় ভেঙে ফেলা হয়েছিল। আজিমগঞ্জ - নলহাটি রেললাইন 1872 সালে শুরু হয়। সেতুটি আজিমগঞ্জ থেকে বহরমপুর পর্যন্ত লালগোলা কৃষ্ণনগর এনজি লাইনকে আজিমগঞ্জ নলহাটি বিজি লাইনের সাথে সংযোগকারী এনজি শাখা লাইন হিসাবে কাজ করত।
পূর্ব রেলওয়ে এই রুটে কিছু ট্রেন চালু করার পরিকল্পনা করছে এবং "দার্জিলিং মেল" এর জন্যও এই রুট দিয়ে ডাইভার্ট করার জন্য রেল বোর্ডের কাছে প্রস্তাব পাঠানো হয়েছে। রেলওয়ে বোর্ডের মতে তারা প্রস্তাবটি বিশ্লেষণ করছে তবে এখনও সিদ্ধান্ত হয়নি।
