well if trump is winning and china has lost then I guess those shipyards must be BOOMING in Maryland and they're begging you to come back and double the pay -right? I don't think so, killing china just means that much less buying power in the world. that doesnt spell a boom for expensive American labor. it just means that smart investors are looking for where all that shipping business will find dirt cheap labor NEXT. its called the FREE MARKET, remember? That's the thing you republicans were so big on BEFORE it cost you all your jobs when the companies that sold you on that free market idea used your support to elect the congresses that PAID them to move to China. Read your history fool.

Nothing operates in a vaccuum, one looses, another gains. Trump fights to Bring back jobs, yet appalling the prostitute media is of course on the side with globalists, who always source cheap labor. SAD, people are too ignorant. WALMART is a classic case, look at their treatment of suppliers. They decimate the locam mom and pop stores. Its a o e way street for these big corporations, its the very reason, they buy out COMPETITIOn. Ultimately its monopoly.

Well, the world will have to face all these changes as we move forward. The question is: if China could overcome such obstacle through their ways of doing things. If America is so gang-ho, just put your best effort forward and change the scenario. Hence, the issue is: are they able to do it, instead of shouting and creating havoc the world over!. If the west is so "unconcerned" about the future of China and Russia, just go ahead and plan without them. Let them do what they can offer the rest of the world. As I see it, China and Russia are quite happy to spend the next generation developing the central Eurasian landmass. The landmass has been written off by the West more than three generations ago, so why squabble over it since both Russia and China feel that they could develop the under-developed world as they plough along. Of course, the setting also include Africa and the Middle-East!

Any business whose profits is gobbled-up by the ever increasing wages plus increasing taxes usually kills any business. That is why big companies in the US transferred to China whose labor cost was lower then. Now that Chinese labor has increased, they will suffer the same fate as what happened in the western world. This proves that labor cost is a big factor in choosing the venue that should not be ignored in choosing the right locations of a business/factories. That is the problem that governments should look into. They are inclined to increased wages and salaries of laborers and government employees which usually increased inflation , higher prices of commodities or lowering the purchasing power of their own money.

@Robbert James Our domestic USPS rates are designed to be a break even business. International postal rates are set by international agreements. In the past these agreements gave China the ability to ship all the way from China, across the USA at a fraction of the cost that American companies can ship items. Trump's team is renegotiating these treaties to level the playing field for American companies.

Her style of ending the interview was very abrupt. She didn't even acknowledge that what he said about the Chinese economic situation was ok, bad, worthless, or anything. He's thinking to himself, "Wtf !!?"

Good news to the entire world, that Chinese shipyards are turning to junkyards because most of the Chinese ship are Substandard ships.South Korea is making the very good ships, and many other countries make better ships. Thank God because the safety and the duration guarantee and maintenance of the ship and Seafarers will be much better and safe in the future.
