Did my eyes glaze over during the heat treatment or is it an untreated tool steel knife? Or did the stock come pre-hardened and you're drilling and grinding hardened material?
Me gusta ver sus videos. Quiero aprender hacer cuchillos y su tecnica me agrada. Usted hace unos trabajos bonitos con poca herramienta . No templo este cuchillo ?
Hey mate, what brand/make of drill bit are you using there? I always struggle to drill through hardened material, and not at 63rc!! Keep up the good work
Kinnie Alford my guess is cobalt, that’s what I use, high end expensive ones but they’ll punch right through steel, especially with a drill press, even a harbor freight one for ~60 bucks
Hey, nice video, I like it. May I ask one question? What is that kind of fancy drill you use to drill the tang? Is it kind of more precise in the metal or something?!
how did you get the handle material so perfect? I'm always leaving huge chunkes to be sanded off when I finish the blade? Also, where did you get these handle fastners?
Great job, as always! Can you share a link to the drawing of this knife?

Koss thank you you’re so kind.
draw your own knife
Really like the stone washed finish, also great idea with the tumbler, much better than watching you dance around shaking it for who knows how long!
That paint/trace idea is brilliant.
Thank you so much for managing the sound volume throughout the video. You can't imagine how valuable that is.

What is the brown liquid the knife is dipped into before tumbling?
I would also like to know this. 🙏

Nice job. That drill tumbler is an awesome idea!
That is a brilliant solution for the tumbler and I am going to copy the design for my own trial at stone washing.

Wow, i liked very much. Which kind of "drill" you used to make the holes in hard steel?
Like to know too. Looked like diamond coated spade bits?
@@pjhalchemy it's a tungsten carbide glass/tile drillbit

@Jorn Navarre i'd gathered it was tungsten carbide, but it doesn't look like any endmill bit I've seen, so hopefully he can enlighten me
Looks to me like a carbide burr.
its glass drillbit
@@croisetguillaume2223 correct! Thankyou!
Nice knife, but about the saw blade....is't not intended to burn through the material..... :D
I really like it, you are very skilled, may it be for me, please send it to Indonesia I will be very grateful to you, I hope you grant my request.
Мне кажется, или это первое видео, где видно твое лицо?
which art of stone do you use for the washing?
I love the painting idea for the outline but get a bandsaw man! Watching all that angle grinding is painful.
What was that liquid u put the knife into? The one which turned it black?
What drill bits are you using? Thanks

Very nice work
Are you make
Knives for sale or just hobby ?
If it is for sale how much cost this knife
Best regards
It would be nice if you spoke or something. And showed a close up of the rope thing on the end if the knife
What’s the lubricant you used for the stonewash?
No heat treatment ?
What kind of cutting disc was used on the angle grinder you had?
use a 4" - 3M cubitron ( or other brand) that is .045, 3/64ths, approx. 1mm thick. with a 7/8" hole -- the thinnest size they make.
Where do you get the tempered and hardened metal from?? I cant find anywhere to order from...please help link or somthing
Cool knife! Also how long did you leave it in the improvised rock tumbler?
about 15 min
@@Koss-channel Thank you!
