No words can express how beautiful this looks....almost brings me to tears watching this. I can only imagine what its like being there hearing those rockets. Let alone being in the cockpit commanding that beauty. Simply outstanding! Great job NASA.
What an amazing video!!! How hard is it to time a trip to FL to see this based on all the delays NASA is known for? Are you from FL or where are you from? I want to see a launch before they are done completely.
These little Flip cameras do a great job. I'm going back in April but bringing a biiger HD camera with tripod and NOT be behind a sign lol. I had a chance to get VIP this time and didn't.
Wow! Great vid!! I was in Titusville - 4 times as far away - drove down from NY at the last minute and glad I did. "Awesome machine" is such an understatement! God bless the USA!!
Great video. I'm jealous. I really wish I could make it down to Florida to see one more launch before the shuttle is retired. Out of curiousity, how did you get access to that area to watch the launch? We had a NASA parking pass once, but it was just a big open field with lots of cars around and nowhere near the VAB as far as I can tell. I've seen two other launches from Titusville, but it's just not the same.
Back this up ... share it with your kids ... this is an incredible experience. Thank you so much for sharing.

wow pretty intense
Is that so huge amount of smoke toxic???
Yes. But you can breathe it and it won’t kill you instantly but you can last for a minute
Amazing sound!
I would be the person with the red shirt
I'm jealous! You, or whoever recorded this, got to watch from about four miles away! I was 3x as far, in Titusville.
I used a Flip at the main entrance and dummy me saw it behind the big sign. I uploaded it. Going to VIP next time.
Was this from VIP area?
Impressiv video, great job. I was at the astronaut hall of fame!
