I played in open competition in amateur Tasmania start up league a few years back, the fit fast skilful white boys[cowboys] only had to dodge the high flying arm of a well built brick shit house from Polynesia and/or New Zealand [Hobart Tigers] the thugs were outclassed by an underdog winning the Grand Final ! but it is hard to find any records.
