They just moved the game to a new engine. Remember what happened to PES 2014, when it just moved to Fox Engine? Same here, I hope. With every year the game should improve. But the licenses are still PES's eternal problem though

Apparently, in terms of shadows and light PES looks a little more pleasant, but the fact is that FIFA the color itself is more realistic and the animations are very well worked and well cared for. Also, the faces in FIFA look much better. Information: I'm not a fan of football, I don't usually buy or play any of these games, but I have seen, and in the way that I am judging it is 100% neutral, I say it from now on so that no one thinks that I am more of a FIFA fan than of PES.

I like to play PES and for me this is absolutely not a PES game. This is eShitball 22. Nothing else. It would have been best for Konami to have released 2 versions. A version for us gamers on the console. And the other version for the mobile phone gamers, on which the engine that was developed for this game is apparently really based. PES21 wasn't perfect either, but compared to this game, PES21 is gold for me.

Efootball dissapoints this year, not as I expected. Huge difference in gameplay comparing with FIFA22 or 21. Maybe with a good update patch in the next months they will correct this. I used to be a fan of PES on PC games and I think PES19 and 21 are better than this. I am glad I didn't delete the game :)

FIFA is using a new inovating tecnology, it makes incredible moves from real life and put it in game. I don´t know much about it but i know that they are gathering real life accurate moves and putting on the game.

I still remember when they switched from old engine to new fox engine with pes 2014, it was a terrible game with lot of bad reviews, but 2015 was one of the best so I think that probably we need to wait for pes 2023 to see the real game.
Well, not every player shot penalty like that in fifa. But there's penalty animation like PES in FIFA. I believe players like neymar etc has different penalty animation like that, just not all player. Majority of them run straight to kick the ball just like in real life, aren't they?
No They sucks this year because they shifted to a new program to design game. They started using Unreal engine now. They had the same problem when they changed program back in 2005 i think. (Not sure)
Wish they added in fifa more animations when they hit EACHOTHER on the head one goes down or both , or grass coming out when wrongly hitting the ball or slide tackling… or when it’s winter like rainy seeing water splashing off the ball when kicked, and also seeing the steam of sweat when playing in the rain or snow , little details like that matter

It is simply the level of effort they put in curtain parts of the presentation compare to others. For example, couple of new prematch cutscenes look great but other parts like player facial animation haven’t been updated for at least 5-6 years.

Konami is trying to make a game for football fans to enjoy playing, EA is trying to make money off a game they don't particularly care about, I may be wrong, but that's just ny take on it
I still remember when they switched from old engine to new fox engine with pes 2014, it was a terrible game with lot of bad reviews, but 2015 was one of the best so I think that probably we need to wait for pes 2023 to see the real game.

They sucks this year because they shifted to a new program to design game. They started using Unreal engine now. They had the same problem when they changed program back in 2005 i think. (Not sure)

Why does PES sometimes look so realistic and then sometimes it looks dog water.
It is simply the level of effort they put in curtain parts of the presentation compare to others. For example, couple of new prematch cutscenes look great but other parts like player facial animation haven’t been updated for at least 5-6 years.

The only thing PES won this year is the grass model i think, and it's still bad, but both do bad on that aspect (Probably due to limitations of engine, it seems like a cool grass would consume a lot of performance)
