Asmon made some really important points while watching this. I really loved his point about saving your money instead of donating if $5 already feels like too much. And him mentioning that the persona he plays is just what happens when he feels comfortable with the people around him. I feel that.

Every time there's a new major modpack, it feels like a whole new Minecraft sequel, and it's already a completely open ended game. It's like asking why Legos never get outdated.
Everytime I play minecraft on a multiplayer server I only steal from other people, and that's it! I can't build for shit XD
I almost always go back to minecraft for the updates and every now and then a modpack (playing Sevtech: Ages Rn).
Minecraft is the WoW of survival/sandbox games, Only way either will die is if they kill themselves
Hey, i recently started a minecraft server with my uni friends, and I used to played minecraft waaaay back then so i lost all tracks about mods and even the official patches.
Thing is we're having pretty good times building impossible things and exploring (we're studying architecture, so its like everything we can imagine but can't do outside + the nostalgia value) but sometimes it feels like the game lacks on variety of things/objectives you can do.
Can you recommend to us some modpacks to try? c:
@@sidradeave If you've got a decent system, All The Mods 6. It's a big fat kitchen sink pack, no real progression or gating just play however you want. If you want something more linear, Enigmatica 2. Look up "Feed the Beast", you should find a subreddit with a good community for modpacks.
legos are outdated though, theres way better quality for cheaper to build stuff

Finally, my suggested algorithm can get back to normal.
Asmon is so genuine and kind and the fact he doesn't care is even better. This isn't coming from someone who watches his streams, or literally any streams either. What a legend.
I just want to mention, Asmon was JUST about to explain his character, but instead of that he on the spot decided to show, not tell, and play his character. Brilliant
I hate ads, but I appreciate that Asmongold does not skip ads when he is doing reactions to videos. He also doesn't skip the shoutouts and "make sure to sub" kind of messages either! And throughout the reaction he has the name of the video, the date, and the channel name right there visible for all to see. That is how you do reactions without being a leech! A+ Asmongold.
I love how anytime the Asmon head smash is played, the chat is flooded with the continuous head smashing emote. That's got to be my favorite emote on twitch.
I once told Asmon a pun and I'll never forget the boisterous laughter of his eyebrows.

If you’d take for exemple vtuber like ironmouse or snuffy you’d find actual weebs in the chat, because they are interesting to them unlike CodeMiko who tend to follow the trend of twitch streamer...

Swifty was a celebrity on Darkspear even back in BC. I feel kinda bad for participating in it, but anytime he stepped foot on Isle of Quel'Danas for his daily quests the Horde would camp him for hours lol
I liked Minecraft because the spigot/bukkit plugins made the game what ever you wanted. I spent more time developing a pvp factions server than I did playing on it. Had about 100 active members, wasn’t big but I was proud of it.
I kind of want to make an MMORPG server now.

I haven't played Minecraft in an easy 5 years but honestly it's popularity is just in its creatively and the sense of working together on builds and shit, like if asmon played Minecraft he'd have 1000 spergs making him a 1by1 of stormwind within the first 24 hours and he'd love it haha

My single best Minecraft moment was building my own little Workshop and using Tinker's Construct to pour various liquid metals into molds to craft my own custom set of tools and weapons.
Also all of that was in VR!

Minecraft’s one of those games I let go every so often. I know what I’m getting into when I re-download Mc after awhile, and I like the chill do whatever you want attitude of it. Sailing oceans in a boat, or flying thousands of blocks with an Elytra it’s so good. Minecraft’s part of the games I played when I was younger that I can drop for years, and pick right back up years later
1:02 Minecraft is surprisingly fun, it's like digital Legos. I play it with my son. Good times. You can install mods and shader packs to make the graphics look better as well.
Wish I had started being a TH-camr back in college around 2010ish, but I missed the boat :( didn't even know about streaming/youtubers back then. Always liked the idea of making videos and media production but I didn't know how to get into it
