this stupid solution ..not permanent solution.. if u mask the ribbon cable with tape .. .after some time big issue will arise.. need to service the T CON board ..it will affect other component . if u dont resolve it.. .this is not permanent solution ..u can order and replace T CON board itself ... even last year i .. did tape mask .. now my LG 50" "TV start showing vertical bars for half of TV .STUPID LG SERVICE asking 1200 to visit and check itself .again service will cost more ....so changed T CON board myself costed 1500 .. now it is completely solved the issue
The fault shown in the video is not Tcon board problem. Its because of internal Shorting in Gatesignals inside glass panel. The Gatesignals enter from the panel from both sides. Left and right. If short in one side removing that Shorting from one side will solve problem.If both sides short then not repairable. Some panels will work only sometimes one month because the working side Gatesignals also becomes Short. But some will work for years also.its a temporary solution and completely depends on luck basis. New panel cost 70 percentage of a new Tv.
If VGH, AVDD, VGL, VCOM 12 VOLT, HVDD ALL BASIC PANEL VOLTAGES ARE OK THEN it means that Tcon board is ok
We are not fool's we are Technicians . We know how to analyse a Problem and how to repair. We have exact knowledge about its working details. May you have different Fault it doesn't mean that its a Tcon fault.
