Nice bike man. Ive got a 1990 with an orange spring in the rear shock. How would I go about getting a stiffer spring?. My rear shock had a new oil and gas and still spongy. How do I find about my spring rate and how do i find a stiffer spring? Any help would be appreciated
hey i got an 89 cr250r blown motor getting rebuilt, was it worth it? bought it for 300$, guy didnt get it to run for 3 years and i got it to start in 3 kicks!

Used to ride with a fellow 30 years ago who owned a 89 CR250. Fine bike. Back then I rode a 89 KX500
THOSE WERE THE DAY'S.
I had a 91 my first 250 in about 2002, my mates dads still got it I think loved that bike
I'd take that over a new 450 any day! Still got my ol 98 RM 250,me and Suzie have a connection!
I had a 97rm250 still miss it just got an 88250r its a ripper probably quicker then my 97 but something about that rm
I wish I had kept my 1990 CR250R. It was a great bike!
Just picked up an 90 doing an complete rebuild on it almost done can’t wait to rip it

You can bore it out to a 250 and put a bigger piston in. I did it to mine, used a hole cutter worked perfect!
