Weather has warmed early, pushing an esrly spawn. Lake levels are makin for some sporadic behavior tho.

Yes sir it has definitely scattered them early. They bypassed a lot of places they set up on with the water temps warning so fast. Appreciate you watching 👍

Two real nice fish there. I found them shallow on the north end of Barkley this weekend too but nothing that nice.

I love fishing wheeler but that wind gets insane sometimes out there. I usually push up in the elk when the wind is crazy.

How does a cold front affect catfishing

@@Christopher-jn3ml Usually a couple days before & up to the cold front the fishing will be great. The barometric pressure drops before a front & starts to rise once the front pushes through. High pressure is always bad so once the front comes through the fishing will be terrible for a few days. Usually catfish will just bury in the mud until the barometric pressure stabilizes. That will usually be 2-3 days after the front comes through. Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍
