lol i can imagine the patience those AA pilots must have when they waited for BA to land, turn, come all the way back up the runway and turn again to taxi to the gate
lol .....they have finally started work on the ramp infront the terminal so that section is blocked off but not the taxiway yet....when fully finished this back taxi by BA should be done with :) !!!
Am using a cheaper lens which seems to make the 777 look longer lol....your the second person to say that...it is infract a 777-200....compare it to a 300ER you would see a extra door and a extra section :) !!!!
I was on that AA flight. Been a while since I took off and turned right and flew over the northern end of the island. Before heading NE. Got some good shots though. Traveled mainly over the coastline then headed towards Statia then banked left
The whole airport and the runway need to be addressed, SK much realized we are getting more wide body jets, and the airport can't hold all those jets coming it, today says it all
What’s this procedure with BA 772? Couldn’t she vacate via RWY C? Rather than backtrack whole runway or sh could have applied stronger braking while landing. If am not mistaking the ATC did ask them to vacate via Charlie « if you can »?
@@flygwada971 am only saying : what will happen if a jet trying to take off, and it aboard, where it will go, do it have space to stop, that's question is very concerning
For some time now BA has not been using Taxiway Charlie because the majority of the ramp infront the terminal is in much need of resurfacing. While no other airline enforced no rules, BA officials did with the 777 as to not use it until its fixed, half of the apron is concrete while that section infront the terminal is asphalt. What you will see in later uploads from me is that that part of the ramp is now blocked off and work has fully started on it...the taxi way is still open for now.
@@grantlybrowne8188 don’t bother. My Q’s for some reasons was posted in your comment section, must be typing error from me. But we all got the answer now cheers 😉

That looks like a Boeing 777-300ER! Wasn't aware BA sends those to the Caribbean. Love that GE90 spool up.

One simple solution which is long overdue is simply to get a few tugs.
