I have a problem with people not being able to see multiple truths. Has Selena Gomez gone through a lot in her life, yes and you can feel sympathy and empathy for her in regards to those things. I think here the problem is how is this is all being broadcast in public. She is always saying how happy and single she is, which there's nothing wrong with that, we women need more of that, but i don't think she actually feels like that. I knew a girl like this who would always play the victim and it was so believable to everyone else (she even uses a fake "baby voice" all the time) but I saw through it and it was just her manipulating everyone around her. You can't always be the victim. At that point I'm wondering why you're not taking responsibility for your part in whatever happened (within reason).
I knew a person like this as well. So manipulative and it was so frustrating to watch everyone fall for it all the time until she played them. Worst part is that people like that can clock you from a mile away. They can sense that you see through their bullshit and then they zero in on you to keep you quiet. To keep the play going. She would try to befriend me and then turn my real friends on me, break up my relationship and just take control. It was horrific experience. I was genuinely scared of her at time and then I cut her off completely and everyone from a friend group that associated with her. Those people are dangerous. Even more so by how they can people blind. Leaves you defenceless.

I had a friend like that once i constantly coddled and defended her til i realised not only would she not defend me during my toughest time she would often do the indefensible then cry and use her parent's split and or grandmother's death as leverage when no immediately rushed to her aid gald im done with her.

Hours later/or the next day… Selena posted a tik tok saying “I DON’T CARE, I REAAAALLY DON’T CARE”. i think she clings so closely onto justin because she’s also clinging to that innocence she used to have. they were only kids and i’m sure whatever went down is a really hard pill to swallow. i think we were all shocked when hailey and justin got married so i can imagine it taking a long time for her to come to terms with that. however, i think she’s projecting her inability to move on, onto everyone. i think she’s trying to convince the world of the same things she’s trying to convince herself of. i love selena and always have but i think she’s in denial and has a long way to go before being fully healed.
I think here the problem is how is this is all being broadcast in public. The public is just getting a glimpse of what is going behind doors, which leads to a lot of assumptions and anger because of their parasocial relationship with them. Here's the thing, it has been talked since ages about the victim mentality and lowkey manipulation tactics Selena shows. But also, she can also be a victim of bullying too. Two things can be true at once. Is Hailey the worst human being? No, has she done shady and outright questionable things in order to get Justin and have things in common with Selena, like getting the exact same tattoo? Yes. Also she id friends with Kendall, and there's evidence she is def a bully. There was a lot of evidence in how Hailey used to be lowkey obsessed with Selena, but people fail to realize that the feeling is mutual. I don't think Selena is in love with Justin, but i think she has a loneliness that no one(family, friends, partners, etc.) has managed to fulfill. She is always saying how happy and single she is, which there's nothing wrong with that, we women need more of that, but i don't think she actually feels like that. I think she wants a stable partner, and i guess in a way she still feels wrong how Justin played her and how bad of a boyfriend he was, so i dont think is love, more obsession in getting avenged. By maybe having Justin still think about her(but he seems he doesn't even think about himself) and have the public think she was the best thing he let go. All of this is assumptions, but it is clear that in some way, she hasn't let go of what she had with Justin.
Hailey DID NOT get the same tattoo as Selena.. The G tattoo was a group event tattoo a bunch of celebs that went to that church got for the pastors toddler daughter who died/or wash sick with a rare disease. Selena was sort of banished from that group at the time because she and beiber were fueding. Selena obviously heard about their group plan and went and got the G tattoo a few days earlier. Why do her fans never bring up the fact that she copied Hailey’s sparkle ✨ finger tattoo? Or Justin’s pink rose tattoo? OR that she hired the Bieber’s WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER to take pics at her fake “wedding” birthday party theme for her 30th birthday? Wearing a dress identical to Hailey’s wedding reception dress just pink and longer. ALSO, people have looked at the real dates of those outfits Hailey supposedly copied from Selena, and she actually wore them first. NOW THIS ONE is the most damning! ::: That picture of Hailey holding a magazine of Justin and Selena on the red carpet (making it seem like she was a super fan stalker) was completely taken at a red carpenter event where Hailey was there to PROMOTE CODY SIMPSON’S music video that she stars in. On the corner of that magazine that she held up WAS CODY’S music video promo. SELENA FAN’S ARE TOXIC LIARS.. and it forces people to go on these long essays to dispute all your lies. There’s many more to disprove but I’ll leave it here.
The irony is, I was a Selena fan before all this… until I witnessed the absolute disgrace in what being a Selena fan means, and realized she was a false idol who is and has been extremely problematic

I have never trusted Selena cuz it is more often that ppl would fall for manipulators than honest ppl. It is not that I hate her not at all, still her vibe was always weird. There was always somthing fishy abt her persona like how come someone be so honest and capitalize on their own sorrows? Or how come she's always the victim in every situation?
