      thank you so much for this video .
      I have been dealing with insomnia since two months , I did all the check ups and they told me you have anxiety. I don't believe them I keep searching till I find out that the adrenal glands if they are tired you can will have sleep disorders.
      I have all the symptoms that you said on the video.
      especially lightheaded I have if I want to grab things from the floor or if I lay down on the couch or in the bed to sleep or if I stand up .
      I was always asking for an answer. now i am 100% sure that my insomnia root cause is the adrenal gland fatigue.
      i slept at night for one hour then boom my eyes open , now I know why I have all these things going with me.
      thanks a lot.

      The thing is that what they learn in school is to identify possible medical conditions, confirm w tests/scans & medicate w prescriptions. If it was not part of their curriculum, they usually either aren't familiar or aren't interested in entertaining the process to figure it out. Without treatment, depending on the ailment, this can result in extra stress, mental health issues, further physical issues & worst case, death. It's pretty sick & twisted that mental & physical health are treated separately, when the gut- brain connection is understood & accepted. Its almost as if...they don't actually care abt ppl getting better, abt treating & healing illness; only the profits from long term (if u make it that far) management.

    I do not know where to begin, thanking you for this video ❤️
    In 2014 I was diagnosed with Cushing which in my case was a carcinoid in my lung “Beneign tumor”, which sky rocketed my cortisol levels for a long time.
    This was surgically removed and since then I have tried to recover from tiredness, several naps during the day, severe moods wings, which I was told was a bipolar disease which I had pills for, lack of energy and so fourth…
    I saw your video 15 days ago and though, OMG “adrenal fatigue” makes so much sense… The following 3 days I did a water fast and after that I have been on a intermittent fasting where I do not eat for 16 hours and reduce my eating window to 8 hours.
    After day 5 of viewing your video I realized I had not had a single nap since I started and my energy level has been through the roof. Even my wife asked if I was okay 🤣🥰 She has seen a dramatic transformation with my energy level and mood.
    Furthermore I am now of the bi-polar pills which has no positiv effect as this was clearly an adrenal fatigue issue.
    I have visited my doctor so many times to get help, I have been MR and CT scanned so many times and been in the hospital several times for days to find out what was causing my “Fatique”.
    Sten, you may have saved the wellbeing of my life. ❤️
    Thank you so much.

    I had AF and CF back in 2018. I was over-exercising and was stressed. My Diet was good - ketogenic, but I also did extended fasting at that time. It took me a year to get over this. I've never been so tired in my life. It feels horrible. I never want to get AF again.

    • @User98681

    • @Moni-ui5bz
      @Moni-ui5bz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@User98681 I went from a keto diet to carnivore diet and have eaten that way ever since (5+years now). At the time when I was at my worst with AF I stopped fasting and for a few weeks I ate 4x a day, small meals. After a while when I started feeling better I went back to eating 2x a day, which is what I mostly do now as well. I couldn't fast for a long time, only now I'm getting back to it but not as extreme as before. And the other thing was REST, a lot of it. It was uncomfortable to just think of doing nothing because of the over exercising I did but my body needed it. Now, I'm trying to not do any extremes in any field. I had to stop using apps to show me my how much I did, because I always want to do better and that encouraged a bad cycle for me. I unfollowed most of the people who influenced my actions and it was good for my mental health.

      @@Moni-ui5bz I agree it’s really hard to get yourself to crash upon over excercising and it’s very hard to get out. 2 different sets of tools needed to get each job done. IF Keto Smoking Coffee and 8+ hours of heavy labour a day wrecked me. Pretty well bedridden the smallest Of stressors takes me out. Insomnia is tough. I find eating very often balanced meals is helping me. I look forward to trying carnivore but my body needs full nourishment now! How bad was your crash on a scale 1-10?

      @Moni-ui5bz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@User98681 I would say a 10. It was the worst time of my life so far. I was so exhausted, just sitting at my desk was too exhausting. sometimes I just slid to the floor and lay there for ten minutes before I could get up again and get on with my day. Thank god that's over! Besides exhaustion I just felt so unwell overall no matter what I did. That was not a feeling I ever want to get back. Good luck to you!

    I had cushing disease from a pituitary tumor that wasn't diagnosed until i was 33. I had brain surgery and radiation surgery where they destroyed my pituitary so now I have addisons, so I've been threw the ringer. Now that Im 47 I have learned to live with the problems but it's very hard, full on diabetes type 2 from living years with high blood sugar. I really feel that it has taken years off my life span and I will not see old age. The medical personnel that normally are seen have no idea how to diagnose these types of disease, I had to demand the blood test that finally found my cushing's tumor. Thank you so much for this video...i have looking this explanation for some time now...i had suspected that this was the troubles I was having....i do believe in controlling ones thoughts and and activities on the other hand we have no control over what life can throw at you to deal with... Yes we all have the normal stresses of life or what is considered normal now...which is already at an unhealthy level. Add to this the loss of loved ones around you ....
    I have experienced these extreme losses...i can say that while you can couch your mind to try and stay healthy ....the body is under extreme stresses.....the adrenal is working overtime...this will bring you to your knees...you will have no energy for life...i have been two year's recovering from the over load unable to work properly...the good news...you can recover with rest and keeping your mind in a peaceful way.
    Keep in mind: the good Lord dose not give us challenges that we can't over come or mountain's we can't climb

    Thank you for this excellent information. I have had years of what you have described. GPs never explain this, they just give you more medication. I finally listened to Dr Jason Fung about 3 years ago and it saved my life. Your videos and Dr Eric Bergs also are what has helped millions to recallerbrate our bodies. Keep up the good work. ..

    I was very stress and has PTSD for a few years. I changed job, helping a lot. Now exercising with weights and fasting, plus sauna and cold plunge.
    I feel I’m getting weaker in the gym. And fatigue after workouts. Not sure about the cold plunges, but shorter saunas and more rest / sleep at the Spa helps. Taking electrolytes of salt, potassium citrate and magnesium L-Threonate, I think these help. Going lighter in the gym!

    Thanks for such a wonderful and clear presentation . I suffer severely from fatigue and have to nap sometimes twice a day for an hour to 2 hours . I stopped all starch (bread , pasta , pizza , rice , etc 6 months ago ) except small potato or sweet potato and in the morning a small raisin bran . No processed foods , all meat boiled not fried , some fruits and lots of vegies , regular tea but no coffee or alcohol and no sugared refined products , not even commercial fruit juices or soft drinks , but still I am fatigued . I do take a walk in town every day but need to rest soon afterwards . I am of Teutonic ancestry and live in the subtropics so vitamin D is not a problem . What now ?

    Dr. Ekbert, I now understand. I’ve been living with Adrenal fatigue for 25 years I’m sure. I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD. I’m on 70 mg Vyvanse daily and about 10 coffees a day. I’m thinking I’ve been running on adrenaline all my life. I have many of the Cushing symptoms. I don’t know how to explain this to my family doctor, do you have a video that could help/advise?

    Man, I’m exhausted after reviewing all the things I need to ‘adjust’ (lol). I do believe it is possible to learn to handle many stressors in a way that minimizes their negative effects, by living with a ‘non-stressed’ attitude, and ‘tapping into’ the stress response for energy to meet deadlines or deal with other priorities. I work 2 jobs, including overnights on weekends; so I put a priority on NOT getting stressed-out by minor disruptions, etc. I wise man once said, “Don’t sweat the small stuff, and by the way… It’s ALL small stuff.” While some things are not really ‘small stuff’ , the perspective is a good one. Your thoughts?

    Exercise is also supposed to lower stress though and keep cortisol levels in check if I'm not mistaken so hopefully people don't use this as an excuse to not exercise just because of being slightly anxious about something.

    As an Addison"s Crisis can be fatal I think you should have advised people with preexisting hashimoto's thyroiditis,darkened skin (spots on gums darkened lines in hands) increased sensitivity to sound to visit an endocrinologist to get checked.If you seriously have minimal adrenal function and get the flu or physically injured or traumatized it is difficult to get the appropriate life saving treatment without a diagnosis of Addison"s disease.
