I love these batteries, have been running them in a 16S1P config in a 3d printed custom case for my eBike for 8 months now. tons of vibrations and >3C discharge peaks and daily 100% DoD charge cycles as i use it to go to work. no problems at all since i built the pack and i have a 24S1P pack just waiting on the final touches and waterproofing that im going to upgrade to with the first pack as backup. Highly reccomend the EVE C40s as even with all of this they are still measuring >100% rated capacity Ah (rated 20Ah, all my cells measuring 22-23) on all cells in the pack to this day. also Happy New Year, love your vids but never commented since i didnt have anything constructive hahaha
Bought a 4pk of these cells for a little 12v solar system from AliExpress for $60 AUD, i knew going in they most likely werent brand new but I top balanced them and have run them for months without a BMS or balancer! (I am checking their voltage every couple of days when they are up at 3.5-3.6v and they are still balanced!) Quite happy with the little purchase.
Yes these are nasty batteries need to be treated with respect ,very powerful. I've been using a pack made up of 4 of these for over a year (not eve but the same looking and cheaper). Will start my 2.5td 4x4 and 3.2tdi car from cold WITHOUT any other battery connected. The 4x4 starter draws 280amps and volts drop to about 8v. The car I don't know how much it draws.
Yes these will do 60 amps no problem the issue is they have so little mass and soon heat up under high discharge. As I replied to another comment I have started my 2.5td 4x4 easily from cold and that draws 280amps but only for a second or two. The DC internal resistance i measured at 2.7miliohm when fully charged so it's easy to calculate the voltage drop and internal heating.

We are Chinese lithium battery manufacturer. There are cell factory and assembly factory. Is there a chance we can cooperate? The end of the discount, battery variety, welcome to consult !

only downside is they weigh a ton lol.
They are heavier than NMC, but I prefer the better safety of LiFePO4
I built a 14S1P battery for a small outboard motor with these cells. They work well, barely get warm at 2C discharge rate.

6:03 I’d like to have seen a closeup of those 4 wire probes, and their plugs. No video on them or that electronic testing device?
Mmm yes classic battery content, I do enjoy these videos. It's tempting me to make another battery...
What is the cycle life. that is important as well
Happy New Year. Anything on expected cycle life?
Depends on a few factors, but from the data sheet: 4000 cycles to 80% @25C
Can we make a jumper pack with it ?

Happy New Year in a couple of hours, Julian 🎉🎉🥳🥳
Thanks, appreciate the link. How to spec a bms & where to find the correct one? They have 100A ones on the site but for 1p 2p 3p or 4p 100A exceeds 1C
The link to jc superstore is a no go!!
Any new store links?? 😊
Haven't watched yet are these for the the bike project. 😊
I gave the bike to a mate - he's got ULEZ issues.
Was that 60 A for 30 seconds ? thats a lot isn't it or am I way behind the times !!

Happy New year.
Happy New Year 🥳
Please forgive me if this is a stupid question ... What does the 'C' stand for/mean ? mentioned many times, but I did not understand
It's the one hour charge (or discharge) rate. If you discharge at 20A, it'll take 1 hour and that's called a 1C discharge.
Happy New year
Happy New Year !!
happy new orbit
